I think on the home page when a new game is revealed, where it says the amount of achievements worth X points it should look something like.... gonna use this as an example...
Rainbow Six® Vegas 2 is now added. The game has 47 achievements with a total score of 1000 points. Thanks to s2l_soldier for giving us the list.
under this put something like
there are X single player &
X multiplayer achievements.
and on the achievements page, put a little symbol that shows a person for each single player achievement next to the point amount. For multiplayer achievements put a picture of like a headset to show its for online. (because the headset is for talking to others online).

I think that is too much info. Keep it the way it is.

Things like this have been suggested many times before, and while I would love to see it implemented, it'd take a lot of work. Every single achievement would have to be categorized; though with a team that's organized enough, it could be done fairly quickly.
Until something like this happens, it's fairly easy to determine for yourself based on the achievement name, description, and the game itself.

I like the idea, but with all the games it seems like too much work. Plus some achievements can be both offline AND online.
The actual post is automated when we add a game so that would be quite hard to do. Unless we manually edited...
But hey, isn't that the joy of a fresh achievement list... Checking to see what's what? It's like Christmas morning... We don't want to spoil it for you :p

-Single Player
-Co-Op
-Splitscreen / System Link Multiplayer
-Live Multiplayer
-Campaign as a whole
-Multiplayer as a whole
-Non-Specific Mode
Though with all of those it'd be somewhat confusing.

I had a chat with Routine about this yesterday as a matter of fact. We agreed on a somewhat simple way of "tagging" achievements so you know right away what kind they are and how they need to be obtained, but he needs to take a look at the coding and work it out in his head, then obviously actually write the code. However, it may very well be a possibility in the coming months. (I say months to give him some breathing room, I really don't know how quickly he will be able to work this out.)

Doesn't sound bad, but then again i don't think it's needed. Maybe we can have it, although i would rather check the achievements out myself and see what's online and what's not.
