I would like to purpose that on the home page there be a link to your personal profile. This will save you from having to click on the forum link and then pulling down the drop down menu which contains the "My profile" link.

It would only save 10 - 20 seconds depending on your internet...is that really a huge deal?

It doesn't seem like it would be worth the hassle, if you need to access your profile regularly then you could always bookmark that page and then you can go straight to that page without going to the homepage at all.

It seems like a great deal of work for the admins for not a great improvement, I highly doubt this'll be implemented.

This style of fourm is very popular and works very well so I don't think the admins will be willing to change one thing to save 10 seconds.

I don't see the harm in having a "My Profile" link under the "Profile" pane on the left of the homepage...

What if it was a section. As in My profile. and under it you have
Home
Messages
then under it, a Suscribed threads section with all of yur suscribed threads and then if they have new posts... *Just an idea

I have 1506 subscribed threads so maybe that's not such a good idea. Also it's meant to be a quick overlook-type thing so we only need the bare minimum there, and there's already a PM link... so maybe just the "My profile" thing and "Last 5 updated subscribed threads" although that'd still be leaning on the side of bloat imo.

I do think that would be a nifty little addition, would be easily coded aswell I think since it would only have to be a link that is added.
