Do you people think Assassin's Creed has enough material to make a movie.

Wow, that's really weird. I literally just said this to a friend of mine yesterday. And of course, YES, it has enough material for a movie. You have the Abstergo thing going on, you have the stories with the past. You have the main character's life, Lucy's background, Altair's background/present.

Ever see the movie "Kingdom of Heaven?" That movie was only about one event, and it ended up being an awesome movie. If they made an AC movie kind of like that or Robin Hood : Prince of Thieves. You know, make it gory and historically correct. It would be awesome.

An Assassins Creed movie, that would be fricken awesome. Making 3 cities look like 1191 AD would be such a hard job though. The storyline definitely has enough potential for a movie, and I'd love to see it happen.

But I agree this could be a sweet movie if done properly. However, a lot would probably depend on the way the story goes in AC 2 and 3.

You know.. I'd agree with you but I think CB is a little too big. Not tall, but muscle wise. They'd probably have to get someone a little thinner. But then again, all he'd have to do is thin down a little bit. Who knows. It'll probably never happen, but if it did, I'd definitely see it.

I have never seen a video game made directly into a movie. I believe GTA's concept was modeled in a movie.

I do'nt think this would be good for a movie...it would get boring and it woiuld just jump around alot...to be honest I liked this game alot more when I didn't know there was an animus...I don't like that concept at all...

There's so much background history that would have to intertwine with the plot of AC. The movie would be amazing if made correctly.

Also I heard the game would eventually be part of a Trilogy, so the three movies would all be awesome as well.

There's almost too much for the game to be made into a movie. All of the elements that make a great movie are contained within the AC story arc, but I think that trying to explain the backstory to provide the understanding might become a problem for the screenwriters. There's a definite advantage to playing the game in first person, but I'm not sure you could find a person good enough to transfer this story into a movie and carry out the same feeling. I fear that the screenwriters would cut out much of the conversation between Altair and Al Mualim, making Altair appear to have no conscience. I loved that Altair carried out his orders, but in time, grew to doubt and question his missions...it gave him character. But in the wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am mentality of Hollywood, they might too quickly pass over this characteristic, or cut it out entirely so that they can show some more action.
...make this game into a movie? sounds good, but I'd be worried

I would only like it as a movie without the whole animus thing. Just an assassin in the Crusades that got betrayed or demoted in the brotherhood and has to reclaim his former glory

I would for sure go see that on opening day.

Strong characters, gritty historical storyline, beautiful locations, it would be quite an epic movie if done right, albeit done at all.

Get Quentin Tarentino or who ever the guy is who did vantage point. They now how to make a good quality movie into jumping around and not even knowing what the fuck your watching. IN the animus out of the animus what?

It would be a very great movie if it done right. Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End producer JERRY BRUCKHEIMER who produced all the Pirate Movie and tons of other top movies of the past 10 years. His next movie another movie already based on a video game. That was so happen to be by the same people who made Assassin's. He doing a movie based on PRINCE OF PERSIA:HE SANDS OF TIME

It'd be a great idea, they just need to execute it properly, good director, good screenwriter etc.

As for an actor to play Altair...I'd say James Caviezel.

omfg the halo movie looks amazing! wow wut previews have u seen that sucked....


it would be kinda hard to find a lead actor tho, now that i think about. gotta find somebody that is a good actor for one thing but the most important thing is that they gotta find an actor that is half monkey and climb up buildings lol
