Messaging Outline

Okay, so lately i've been sending Messages to friends and recently played players advertising the site.. I just went with the flow and mentionend the good points.. But would it not be possible to just have an advertising message outline.. So when people advertise on forums, IM, Xbox live etc.. There not all different and they all mention the points admins want getting across..

If you can't think up anything decent to say about the site on your own then you should probably not risk it. The site doesn't need an advertising campaign and spamming peoples' inboxes with messages they might not give a crap about isn't going to help out the site. If you want to advertise the site then stick the URL into your sigs on various forums, let people know about the site if they ever ask you about achievements or if they need help with anything to do with gaming or even if they want to find a decent gaming community. Don't just randomly message people even if it does get a few people to join. X360a is good enough to just make people sign up anyway =)
