It would be nice to have a setting in the User CP that allows you to set your own goal from the gamerscore you have now. This could run off the information already provided by the gamercard, then the user would input their "goal" (whatever gamerscore they are trying to achieve) and it would show up next to their gamercard on the left panel/ or even in there own profile.
you could even have it so it keeps track of two gamerscores if people are "racing" eachother. this would again be located in the left panel or profile page if the user.
I know a lot of people put there gamercard in there signature and put an amount next to it. this would be a cool perk.

This is a great idea! I support this 100%!! So you can set youself a target, and maybe a timescale to achieve it in too. Maybe even have duels between other members. Say, a challenge for the first to gain 3k points. You wouldn't get anything out of it (other than a higher gamerscore), but it'd be good fun anyway.

that's pretty much exactly how i imagined it. it would be like a thermometer/bar graph, where your gamerscore rises until it hits the top then you can set yourself a new goal.

I think it would work, especially for battles and just for fun, nice idea and I hope the mods consider the idea and put it into place :D

Doesn't sound like a bad idea to be honest with you, but don't know if it's really needed. Maybe if people support it, it's possible.

I think this is actually quite a good idea so I support 100%.
I was suprised to see the battle cards had disappeared when I was about to make my new signature.

What does it take for them to implement something like this into the forums. Just like links and something that counts up when a certain mark is hit. i don't really know much about web editing or programming languages

This sounds like a fantastic idea. I've seen plenty of people with stuff in their signatures about wanting to hit a particular gamerscore by a given date and this would be a sweet way to show that graphically.

Yeah, I was looking for those as well. I think I'm going to downsize the sigs I used instead, since I think they're too big. The ones you have now look good.
But this feauture you're talking about, Appie, I'd support it. It sounds cool.

They didn't technically disappear... Livecard.net did :p
Interesting idea though, I'll have a word with my fellow administrators and see what we can work out/fit in to our busy schedule :p

I already suggested this in another thread, along with some other ideas but nobody seemed to care. :P
Yeah there was a similar suggestion a week or so ago, but I still really like it.
It would save clutter from people's signatures.
Everyone could just post their completed games, goals, gamerscore races, favourite forum quotes and whatnot in there.
Unfortunately, the head honchos don't seem to like the idea as much. :(

I was thinking of something 100 times more fancy than a thread in the forums. But, it's all just a pipe dream at the moment ;)

..What do you mean a thread in the forums?
I R confused.. I didn't say anything about a thread in the forums.
Either way, I'd put you a million pound on it we're not talking about the same thing ;)
I don't know what else you could be talking about or think I'm talking about. :P
That's the beauty of it ;)
