Tips:
Do the tutorial and learn everything because all of it is needed to complete all 250 levels.
Gather as many gold pieces as possible, this is what makes up your time limit for the WHOLE Episode (5 Levels)
If you are stuck on a level try completing some of the harder levels on the higher episodes. Pace yourself.
Before you start a level eye out where you need to go exactly.

Hard Levels:
Most of the hard levels with rockets and guns have a pattern to them. You must almost always be moving, once you learn the physics of the game you can pretty much dodge anything. But most importantly stick to your pattern!

Race is an online game type in which you face 1-4 players and the goal is to finish the level 1st. It doesn't matter who unlocks the final door, it's whoever gets to it first that wins. Win ten matches to get this achievement. (There are 10 matches per round on ranked)

Survival is an online game type where whoever lasts the longest wins the match. To stay alive you must collect gold pieces which raises your countdown. You are matched up against 1-4 players and you all start with the same countdown. Win ten matches (there are 10 matches in one round on ranked)

Go to single player mode. Select tutorial and play through one episode.

Go to single player mode. Select n+ episodes and any episode without dying. Episode 1 is the easiest.

You have to die 1000 times in Single Player Mode. The fastest way to do this is to enter a game and press the X button, (this will make you die instantly) You should get this around the time you finish episode 20, but you WILL get this before you finish 50.

The videos are a nice touch.

The number of levels per amount of episodes is good.

Your information for amount of matchs for Survivalist and Speed Demon are off... It is 10 matchs per round default, but that can be changed by the host making the game to more if they choose.

For gathering the gold coins I would go with saying to make sure and grab as many as you can in the first one or two levels of each episode. It is much easier to grab them in those levels than to try and find them later on.

another easy way to do it is to go to Episode 11 Level one. Since you have to press the A button both to jump and to try again, you can just continually press the A button. There is a mine directly over your head when you start so you never even have to look at the screen. Just keep pressing A and you will die and start over. :)

lol yea people u must rember to get at least a few gold! because i finished one of the third level in the episode with 0.21 seconds left, with a level still to go, so when i started i just exploded everytime because i ran outta time, haha i laugh now but at the time god it annoyed me soo much :P

The 1,000 deaths achievement will come if you just keep playing. No point in doing it intentionally...
