Can I?

Quit to the main menu mid level when I run out of bullet's, etc. when I'm boosting for the kills or do I need to finish the level? Also, can I do the levels on easy or do I have to get the kills on hard?

For the 50/100/250 kills, it can be on any difficulty, and you have to need to finish a level. The kills continue to tally up whenever you play the game.

No, to get the cheats simply go to the codemaster's website and follow the directions on the site. The codes will cost you around 6 bucks but they make this game way easy for achievements.

not if its only for boosting the rest of the kills the game gets very bouring and i dont see that as cheating if you just want to be done with the game

Well you get the achievements throughout the level so in theory you should be able to get the checkpoint or whatever, when i was going for the ghost bullet and Melee achievements i kept playing from the level after Ross dies up until you get out of world war II then i just went half way back through and got the two achievements, much easier with Church for melee as she has the sword and get the dominator damage code ;)
