I don't know if this has been said. But in the forums I noticed the bar that you can make that says that there is a spoiler. I think that should be implemented in the secret achievements. The biggest one is probably Bioshock. The ending was ruined for me when I read the secret achievements. It would be great and the stories would remain unspoiled

He didn't know they were going to spoil the storyline for him.
I think one of the problems is that usually the lists come out before anyone has played the game, so reading the achievement list before playing might spoil the story a bit for you and the staff can't really guess which ones to 'censor'. It's a good idea for people who play for the story and want to get through it solo, but since nowadays many developers have story-related achievements you could easily avoid spoilers by not reading the achievement list and just ask people which achievements you need info on that aren't story spoilers in the Achievement Discussion threads.

Im sorry, but everyone knows a lot of games have Achievements related to the story. Therefore, when you look at a list there is a good chance you will have some plot revealed to you. If you dont want to know the plot, dont look at the list before you have played it!!
This seems as sensible to me as Maccy D being sued for their coffee being hot

Hell, for Eternal Sonata, all the achievements were secret. You can't get more spoiler-proof than that.
