Keystones

on a couple of levels ive picked up keystones but have not unlocked the doors now when i go back to finish the levels the keystones arent there anymore and cant open the doors but when i look in the mission select sceen it shows that ive picked the keystones up but havent unlocked the doors has happend to anyone else!?

any ideas on how to fix this?

im considering starting a new game seeming it was only on the third level

It should work if you just walk in front of the door and it will tell you "Press A to enter" or something like that anyway

I've got this same problem. Got keystone but the versus level / door won't open or unlock. All other levels have worked. I think I will have to start a new game just to unlock this one area (Egypt).

EDIT: OK, yeah, I'm an idiot. I did indeed read the above post but didn't really put 2 and 2 together. I don't know how I wasn't getting this b/c you have to do the same thing for all other similar doors. I think it was b/c I wasn't standing still for long enough. Once I stopped, I saw the prompt come up to enter. Geeze, I can't believe I missed that.

Same problem on Lvl 4. going to try it again before starting the whole thing from scratch:mad:

O.K. I've given it another go and found the problem (for me anyway). It seems that the Keystones will work in any secret door!! so if you get one of the Keystones in level 1 and don't open the secret area for that Lvl then the Key is saved for the next Lvl (press START button in game and your Keystone total is at the bottom!!). If you then find the secret room in Lvl 2 but not the Keystone for that Lvl the door will still open as you have one key in your inventory.

If you are strugeling to open a particular door just scan all the other levels to see what you are missing. It might turn out that you have opened a secret room for a Lvl without finding the Key!! That missing Key is the one you need.

It says i've found the Keystone for this level, and I can see it in the door but it won't let me in, and I need to unlock this level
What can I do?

Ok, nevermind, was exactly what daemonscape.co.uk (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/member.php?u=76069) said, I didn't know they could transfew from levels, seems I've been opening doors in transylvania with other keys :mad:

That is kind of a bad glitch. I have only 1 door left on the Transylvania level and I have all the keys for that level and I still can't open the door. Boo
