Welcome to the one and only guide you'll need for the craptacular journey that is jumper.

Note: You will need to play through jumper at least twice for the full 1000.

Also, the camera at certain times will get stuck (Hooray for lazy programming! To remedy this simply click down on the right stick.

Finisher Achievements

Note: In the top left of your screen you will notice two bars. One is blue (your health meter) the other one below that is empty but will begin to fill up with green coloring as you fight (this is your finisher meter.)

Gaining finisher meter: To gain finisher power you will first need to land a punch to open your opponent up. After the initial hit you will notice one of the four directions of your enemy will turn green. Once this green section shows up simply attack that side and you will be awarded some finisher power. Repeat this process until your finisher bar begins to pulsate and glow, this is your cue that you can now unleash a finisher attack.

Homerun: Perform a finisher move from the left side.

Simply gain enough finisher energy, then hit your opponent once to open him up. After that initial hit mash and hold the left bumper. With the left bumper held attack the enemies left side.

Slice and Dice: Perform a finisher move from the back.

Simply gain enough finisher energy, then hit your opponent once to open him up. After that initial hit mash and hold the left bumper. With the left bumper held attack the enemy from behind.

Right Hook: Perform a finisher from the right side.
Simply gain enough finisher energy, then hit your opponent once to open him up. After that initial hit mash and hold the left bumper. With the left bumper held attack the enemies right side.

Stop Hitting Yourself: Perform a finisher move from the front.

Simply gain enough finisher energy, then hit your opponent once to open him up. After that initial hit mash and hold the left bumper. With the left bumper held attack the enemy from the front.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Experience Achievements

Note: Experience is gained through killing enemies, you will get more exp per kill if you hit them with a finisher or string together a nice combo but the extra xp is barely noticed or needed as you will easily hit the numbers you need.

Also with each play through of the game your experience points will continue to add up. For example: at the end of your first run through you end the game with 30,000 exp when you start your next game you will begin the game with 30,000 exp.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/tL/C2/0YCLiGJhbC9HFQQdXVdRGEQxL2FjaC8wLzMAAAAA5+fn-pmwrw==.jpg50 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif
Gladiator: Get 20,000 experience points.

You will get this one near the end of the last level of your first time through the game.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/tL/C2/0YCLiGJhbC9HFQQdXVdRGEQxL2FjaC8wLzMAAAAA5+fn-pmwrw==.jpg50 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif
The Buffet: Get 45,000 experience points.

You will get this one near the end of the last level of your second time through the game.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Drop Zone Achievements

Note: Drop zones are the funny little cut-scenes that play after you kill certain enemies for instance when you teleport a guy into a car crusher.

You don't have to do anything to trigger these. They will always happen after you kill the certain enemy. That enemy will also always trigger the scene and I think it will also always be the same cut scene.

For some reason this didn't unlock for me well into my second time through the game. I suspect the game doesn't give you credit for the drop zone unless you watch the full cut-scene of each drop zone kill you are given.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/TV/sU/1ICLiGJhbC9AFQQdXVdRGEQxL2FjaC8wLzQAAAAA5+fn+ztbVg ==.jpg50 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif
Deep End: Perform a drop zone kill.

This will unlock on the first level after the first drop zone sequence is initiated.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/TV/sU/1ICLiGJhbC9AFQQdXVdRGEQxL2FjaC8wLzQAAAAA5+fn+ztbVg ==.jpg50 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif
Drop Dead: Drop an enemy in all drop zones.

1. You drop the dude into the Grand Canyon. (Located in the first level.)
2. You leave a guy stranded on a mountain top. (Located in the first level.)
3. You take a guy to the desert right before a nuclear bomb is detonated. (Located in the first level.)
4. You drop a guy off in a car that is getting crushed. (Located in level 2.)
5. You dump a guy off into a shark tank. (Located in level 4.)
6. You will deposit a baddy into the upper atmosphere.(Located in level 4.)
7. You leave some poor sap stranded in the arctic next to a polar bear. (Located in level 4.)
8. You will deposit an enemy into a fusion reactor. (Located in level 6.)
9. You will give a paladin a one way vacation to a volcano. (Located in level 6.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Combat Achievements

Note: As you pick up comic books you will unlock new combos. From the pause menu select combo and you can pick how your combo strings together. Take note of this sequence and follow it to help with the combo based achievements.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/J0/hW/0ICLiGJhbC9GFQQdXVdRGEQxL2FjaC8wLzIAAAAA5+fn-3lIPA==.jpg50 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif
Combo #5: Perform 5 hits

Simply land a five hit combo without getting countered or getting hit by another enemy. Hit the enemy and follow the green target prompts. This is easier if done earlier in the game because you won't be doing as much damage. I unlocked it in first level.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/J0/hW/0ICLiGJhbC9GFQQdXVdRGEQxL2FjaC8wLzIAAAAA5+fn-3lIPA==.jpg50 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif
Shall We Dance?: Perform a successful 7 hit jump combo.

I found this one to be easier in the third level where you fight a lot of the worker enemies. (They don't counter very often.) Have some finisher meter built up. Group some enemies together and begin hitting one, on the the second or third hit launch into a finisher (the one from the right I think) preferably the one where you teleport around all fast like and hit multiple enemies. After the finisher begins to wear down keep hitting some attack buttons and you will get some extra hits in. If done correctly your character will yell or shout yeah or some such douchebagery.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/J0/hW/0ICLiGJhbC9GFQQdXVdRGEQxL2FjaC8wLzIAAAAA5+fn-3lIPA==.jpg50 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif
Hot Delivery: Slide tackle an enemy.

Get a little bit of distance between you and your target, run at them, and before you get too close pull the right trigger and you will slide attack into them and presto!...achievement unlocked.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dodge Based Achievements

Note: These achievements can be done towards the end of level 2 all the way until the end of the game, though they are easier during the later levels because the enemies will more frequently use the tether and the net.

These can be a little deceiving because they say dodge but to get them you have to let them hit you and then escape out of them.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/3q/P0/1YCLiGJhbC9BFQQdXVdRGEQxL2FjaC8wLzUAAAAA5+fn+tujxQ ==.jpg50 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif
Dodge This: Escape an incoming tether.

The tether is a length of cord fired at you by the enemies from their weapons. Let the rope hit you and a meter will appear in the bottom of the screen. Within this meter will be a small section that is lighter blue. A line will move from left to right and to escape you need to hit a,b,x or y while the line is in the light blue section. The tether has a large blue section but the line moves quickly.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/3q/P0/1YCLiGJhbC9BFQQdXVdRGEQxL2FjaC8wLzUAAAAA5+fn+tujxQ ==.jpg50 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif
Nothing but Net: Escape an incoming net.

Wait till an enemy hits you with the blue glowing web look net. Once it lands a meter will appear and the escape mini game will start (functions exactly the same as the above mentioned tether one. The only difference between this one and the tether is that the net has a smaller blue section and the line moves slower.

Tough Achievements:

Note: Below are the speed and no death achievements. These are much easier to accomplish on a second play through because you will start the game with your previous exp total (not sure if it has an impact) and your strongest weapon. Plus, you will have a better feel for the game and its mechanics.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/+F/I1/1oCLiGJhbC9DFQQdXVdRGEQxL2FjaC8wLzcAAAAA5+fn+RpS4w ==.jpg50 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif
Speed Demon: Complete a play through of the game in record time.

I'm not exactly sure on this on as there is no game clock and nothing to tell you how quickly you finished the game. Just save this one till the second time around. Quickly kill the enemies and move through the levels as fast as you can.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/a6/rV/14CLiGJhbC9CFQQdXVdRGEQxL2FjaC8wLzYAAAAA5+fn+PqqcA ==.jpg50 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif
Hard Target: Play through the game without dying.

Save this one till the second time around. It really isn't as bad as it sounds. Fight smart and try to save your heath for when you absolutely need it. Also, an important little tip is that the good ol trick I used to beat fear without dying also works on this game. If you die which I did at the very last boss (so pissed!) quickly turn off your xbox. After you get going again load up your save and continue and the achievement will still unlock.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Other Achievements

When its Done: Complete the game.

Simply finish all six levels of this really short and quick game and this achievement is yours.

Collectible Guide

Note: Once you have picked up a collectible and saved your game it will no longer appear in the game even when you start a new play through. Which means those of you who picked some up and missed some don't have to find them all over again. However, if you pick one up but die before saving or hitting a in level check point don't forget to pick them back up when you pass by them again.

Collectibles have a blue aura and will shimmer slightly. (Not to be confused with the jars that have the same aura but are red..these are heath)

I have listed the collectibles out in the order in which you encounter them to make it easier for you to pick them up. (Yay me!)

Finally, to check which ones you have from the main menu you can press left or right on the d-pad until the option "Loot Room" appears. Once you're in there you can see which collectibles you have picked up already.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Located in level 1 (Rome)
In the third area you enter next to the opening leading into the next section is a chalice sitting on a small piece of rubble.

2. Located in level 1 (Rome)
To the left of the first collectible you should see some bars. Behind these bars is a small area. Hold down the right bumber and guide your manual teleport to the other side of the bars. In this semi hidden area on the left side next to a fallen block and on the ground is the next collectible.

3. Located in level 1 (Rome)
After you use the jump point marker into the next area. You will be facing a wall and an orange closed door on the right. Head left and around the wall. In the distance you will see another orange door against the back wall. To the right of this door in a circular corner area on top of three barrels is a collectible set of scrolls.

4. Located in level 2 (Nepal)
Proceed along the pathway in the beginning until you come to an open double doorway on your left. Upon entering look to the left and on the ground is a small collectible statue.

5. Located in level 2 (Nepal)
Through the second doorway you come across on the left. After entering turn to the right and sitting on a red bench is a multi-colored collectible rock thing.

6. Located in Level 2 (Nepal)
At the end of the second level you will come to a large courtyard. Look to your right after entering and spot the large golden statue. From this statue head towards the temple and next to a tree lying on the ground is a collectible lantern.

7. Located in Level 3 (Egypt 1)
After you leave the second large room wind through the corridor, take the doorway on your right and into the next section. Move around the column in front of you. There will be a doorway on the right and a work station against the back wall. Make your way to the work station and located on a wheeled cart is a golden scarab...your collectible.

8. Located in Level 3 (Egypt 1)
After you come to the fourth large room head down the left hand side. Sitting atop a large square sarcophagus is a smaller collectible sarcophagus.

9. Located in Level 3 (Egypt 1)
When you come to the fifth large room in front of you will be a pile of junk and an overturned table. Behind that stuff is a table against the wall. On the right side of the table will be a crate marked explosives and to the left of the crate on the table is a collectible book.

10. Located in Level 3 (Egypt 1)
Also in the fifth large room. From the table where number 9 was turn left. Head further into the room and take a left around the corner. On your left next to a large square sarcophagus is a table and on the table is a collectible scepter.

11. Located in Level 4 (Labs)
After you come to the second large room (the one with the sections of fencing and white teleport pads). Along the wall opposite from where you entered are some desks in between two pad and fence things. On the desk to the right is a collectible stack of files.

12. Located in Level 4 (Labs)
After you take the multiple jump points across some gaps you will enter another large pad and fence testing area. Head into the room and in the middle is a slightly raised testing section. On the back of this is a pad surrounded by three floodlights. Next to this is a table and on the table is another stack of collectible files.

13. Located in Level 4 (Labs)
After a third trip through the beginning lobby area you will be in yet another large testing room. In the center of the room is a raised teleport pad. On this pad is a collectible briefcase.

14. Located in Level 4 (Labs)
In the last room (the one with the large red machine that opens up) after you come down some stairs the boss of the level will engage you. Ignore him for now and head up a stairwell located on the left wall. Take a jump point at the platform at the top of the stairs to another smaller platform. On the floor on this platform is a collectible pile of gold bars.

15. Located in Level 5 (Docks)
After you come down the stairs in the beginning of the level you will be in an open area. In front of you is a large tin shack. Inside the shack on the ground on the right side is a collectible treasure chest.

16. Located in Level 5 (Docks)
Take the stairs down in the beginning and follow the path on the left as it curves to the left. As it straightens out you will see an open cargo container on your right (where the weapon was located) and a street lamp on your left. Move over to the lamp and turn around. You should see a gap in between two cargo containers. Head through the gap and on the ground in this hidden area is a collectible pottery piece.

17. Located in Level 5 (Docks)
After you come to the second section of this level (inside area) you will pass a circular section with red lights. After this the path splits in three directions. Take the right path and follow the corridor until it dead ends. In the left corner on a barrel is a collectible ship in a jar.

18. Located in Level 5 (Docks) (Also probably the most missed one)
Proceed through through the second section (inside area) eventually you pass through a third circular area with red lights. Right after this you will come to a long hallway with a door on the opposite end. Move slowly down this hall while looking to the right. You should see a locked door with a window that leads into a bathroom. Manual teleport into the bathroom. (RB) On the back wall next to the urinals is a collectible bottle of wine.

19. Located in Level 5 (Docks)
After you cross through the interior section you will once again find yourself outside. Follow the path until it ends with a loading ramp leading up onto a ship. Right next to the ramp on a barrel is a collectible compass.

20. Located in Level 5 (Docks)
Near the end of the level. After you board the ship continue along until you come to the second open cargo container on your left. Inside the container is a collectible idol.

21. Located in Level 6 (Nepal temple)
After you have gone up to the third floor and come down a different set of stairs back down to the second floor. Move left around the balcony area until you come to a large piece of wood lying over the rail. (Looks like a ramp) On this piece of wood is a collectible idol.

I guess I could give you some babies for the right price. Yeah, you have to play through twice but it isn't bad at all as the game is super short. Makes tmnt look long.

How are you guys beating the last boss? I have tried keeping him near a corner so I don't have to fight his cronies, but eventually 5 of them will come over and then it's beat on the jumper time. I've about broken my controller three times because I'll grab a health jar and almost instantly they net me and gang :eek: me.

xRogue 5x
02-18-2008, 08:08 AM
Anytime extra guys show up focus on them until they are gone. Once you have the boss back down to one on one continue the fight. Don't try to rush it or force the combos. Be methodical and make sure that each of your hits are gonna land and not be countered and you'll have him out for the count in no time.

Thanks for the guide, not having too many problems except for the one where you have to beat it without dying, I always manage to get killed on the 3rd stage of fighting samuel jackson on the last level, the one where you're on that balcony with no health powerups.

Edit: Finally beat Samuel Jackson without dying, found out that you can't finish him with Y because he won't fall down, and will pummel you 99% of the times. Now I can't beat the guy in the black trenchcoat at the end without dying. I do fine until he has maybe 1/6 life left, and then 3 guys come to back him up and shoot me with nets and guns, and I have no life left after that.

Now my system will no longer read this terrible game, looks like I'll be stuck with 900 points. It's the only game that's ever given me any trouble, even though it has no scratches on it at all. It'll either say "To play this disc, put it in an Xbox 360 console." or the Disc is Dirty error. If I put in one of my other games it works fine. Screw this game.

Yeah. You can get the 5 hit combo without actually hitting anyone. Just start typing in one of the 7-hit combos, from the combo screen, and you'll get it. Also, for some reason I got all of the finisher achievements without even actually doing finishers.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the dropzones don't seem to be dependent on the level, I got some of them in other levels than the ones mentioned, seemingly random.

The ones listed in the guide are the first level that those particular drop zones show up. Once you get them the first time, they can show up at anytime in later levels.

Has to be done in a very quick succession of hits. Pause and then select combo to see a list of buttons that will form your combo.

did you get one then die and not pick it up on the replay? There are only 5 to find and 6 in total (you start with the first one)

bat, crowbar, katana, metal scrap thing, broad sword, and chinese sword.

Yeah I made sure I found them all. I went through the game again on my girlfriends 360 and found all the weapons and she got the achievement... I then started my game back up and went to each spot and the weapons had been found. Also I went to my loot place and the weapons were all there.

Combo #5: Perform 5 hits

Simply land a five hit combo without getting countered or getting hit by another enemy. Hit the enemy and follow the green target prompts. This is easier if done earlier in the game because you won't be doing as much damage. I unlocked it in first level.

It is possible to get these achievements without actually attacking anyone. As long as you complete a combo you get these. :)

Not that its very hard to begin with, I got both, 5 and 7 hit, combo achievements just mashing all 4 buttons while fighting 3-4 baddies :woop: Some of the SNES games had combo moves that were 10x harder than this whole game.

Looks like it glitched out on you. The only thing I can suggest is to delete save file and start anew. Shouldn't take very long to run back through and grab the six weapons again.

Wow you guys weren't kidding. This game blows! Pretty much every aspect of it. The only positive note I can make is that the cut-scenes for the drop-offs are pretty cool. Other than that it's all crap!

I thought I had the combat system figured out, but I am getting my ass handed to me on the last level.

How the hell did you guys beat this without dying ? i understand you can shut your system off real quick but did you do that and get the quick time achievement the same go ?

this game is really really bad. i smash all 4 buttons and hold both triggers every time i fight. this game has no skill at all when it comes to fighting.

I did not miss a single item on the Guide and found the final comic book on very last level as well, the temple where you fight the final fight. So I got Solar achievement in last level but I still didn't get RatPack achievement, although I went down the list and got everything on the list within Guide. First the save glitch and now this...Wierd game!

Btw, for those that haven't read my "Levels & Saves" thread, I played level 5 and after going upstairs from level1, as soon as I beat the 3 people in the room I got dropped in the room for final fight. Today I loaded the save and got started from begining of level3, after playing the game over I realized somehow the game just skipped the whole going up to 3rd level and then outside part all together. If you can, try to finish the game in 1 go, much easier that way and no room for stupid glitches.

no you dont. gotta keep it at "continue game". i had about 38000 and i hit "new game" thinkin it would be alot faster to get the points..but i got shafted finding out it resets everything. had to do the collectibles all over and get to 45k all over.

as for the last boss. ya just gotta hit him in the front then just follow wherever the green side is and hit 'em. if he hits you or the goons do, keep rolling back and rinse and repeat. just focus on the head honcho. watch out for his triple web throw tho a simple dodge will do. take out the goons the same way. i was able to kill him during the second wave soo its just evasion and timing. hope this helps good luck

Impulse 9: Collect all weapons.

1. The weapon you start the game with your trusty bat.

2. Crowbar: Located in level 1 (Rome)
After you learn about and use your first jump marker head left around the wall and directly in front of you. Leaning next to a short section of wall in between two sections of bars is the weapon.

3. Katana: Located in level 3 (Egypt 1)
After you enter the second large room head in and turn left. Leaning against the left side of the doorway into the next area is the sword.

4. Sharp Metal Piece: Located in level 5 (Docks)
After you head down the stairs in the beginning follow the path to the left as it curves to the left. Once the path straightens out you will see an open cargo container in front of you and to the right. Located in side the container on the back wall is the weapon.

5. Broadsword: Located in level 6 (Egypt 2)
After the initial cut scene you will jump to another room and yet another scene will play with dudes running into the room after you. During this second scene you will see the sword lying on the table where the collectible scepter was located. You really can't miss this one.

6. Chinese Sword: Located in level 6 (Docks)
Near the end of the second trip through Egypt you will begin a boss fight with Sam Jackson's character. This fight is divided into four parts. During the fourth and final area (where you're on the dock and the ship crashes into it). After the fight starts up directly behind the boss is an open white cargo container. Inside this container on the back wall is the final weapon.

I am near 99 % positive I have gotten all these weapons and it has not given me the achievement. Do you have any ideas? Also anyone post a picture of their loot room if they have the achievement so I can see what they all look like. Thanks.

I think the Drop Dead achievement is glitchy in some way. I got it early in my second playthrough and I hadn't even seen the polar bear one yet (on either of my playthroughs). It popped as I was dropping someone off in the sky for about the 20th time.

i'm kinda confused. i'm on stage 6 and keep having troubles finding that last item down some steps? (the piece of wood i guess) i never see stairs because he just transports from one area to the next til i get to sam jackson.

EDIT:
nevermind, i figured it out. the "6th stage" is after sam jackson stuff

nearly all the achievements are glitched on this anyway, but in a good way
i finished it last night, and it gave me the dont die achievement (even though i had died, 3 times i believe) and it gave me the speed playthrough, even though it took me about 3 nights, probably 2 hours each
it didnt however give me the collectible one, so i had to start a new game and follow the guide, even though i am positive i had all the collectibles.
oh well, back to blockbuster with this shite game!

This is seriously the worst game I've ever played. Although F4:ROTSS is pretty bad as well. Achievements glitching all over the place. I got Impulse 9 even though I missed the "Sharp Metal Piece". And I didn't get my no deaths achievement. And then I accidentally hit New Game and it didn't ask me if I was sure I wanted to do that so I miss out on another 50 points even though I was only 4K XP away. I'm happy with 850 I guess. Not playing through another 2 times. Lame as piece of crap.

Jesus Christ, this is absolutely the worst game I've ever played and that includes the 200+ games I had to review back during my IGN.com days.

Worst part is that the weapons achievement glitched and I've just played through this thing for the 3rd time trying to make sure I didn't miss one. Just checked the loot room and all 6 weapons are on the wall, too. I guess I'll try playing through from the beginning with a new save, but DAMN, I want to send this back to Gamefly ASAP! :mad:!

Excellent guide, though :)
