How is the item achievement done?

If you achieved max health, that means you have the maximum amount of Blue Orbs and Blue Orb fragments. So that should mean if you have the max health your good.

ive got that damn achievement after hours iof playing mission 3 again... if you have every item maxed out, DMD Mode is very easy then... the best is Holy Water :uzi: hehe...

lol any idea how many red orbs it ends up costing you in the end? I'm currently working on it as well. I have all the blue orbs now its just buying all those 20,000 Red Orb L. Green Stars

Hey i been collecting a lot of orbs to figure this out, but it think when the price of an item reaches a certain amount, it stops increasing...

So on this idea i think i've come up with an idea of how many red orbs you need, but my list is only once the price of an item is maxed. Please correct me if i am wrong.

Vital Star S 5,000 x 30 - 150,000
Vital Star M 10,000 x 30 - 300,000
Vital Star L 20,000 x 30 - 600,000
Devil Star S 15,000 x 10 - 150,000
Devil Star L 20,000 x 10 - 200,000
Holy Water 20,000 x 30 - 600,000

So on this idea you would need 2,000,000 red orbs.

But yea just a theory, check it first then add it if you want.
But i do hear that you dont need the holy water... not sure. Also this is after i maxed out the price of each item.

Thanks, somewhat depressing to waste all those red orbs for items I won't use. I'm not a big fan of using items. I'm doing SoS as Dante right now and I really suck, so maybe after I get the achievement I'll just say "F it" and sail through levels using items.

You probably will have to on DMD, if you dont use items your score gets x1.2 i think, if you do use them, it doesnt minus your score at all, you just lose that extra .2 bonus, so if your going for an S rank it wont matter, you make that up for style points as the demons will take a good beating. I just cant afford items, and replaying mission 3/7 is so boring. So i'm struggling on SoS without items :(

But you need to have maximum of every item (except holy water) and every blue orb fragment. It will cost you around 1,500,000-1,600,000 red orbs. (This includes buying the blue and purple orbs.)

I'm in the same boat as you, but on DMD. I managed to make it through SoS, but after reaching Berial on DMD I realized that:

A) I still need some practice.

B) I will probably be using a lot of items.

Considering how many orbs I wasted already buying and using items it would be stupid at this point to bother with DMD and waste even more money. I'm gonna suck it up, farm me some orbs, and get my collector's achievement.

Then I'm going to blow it all while playing through on DMD. :)

Do what I did: realize at some point you won't be able to use items if you want an S rank and just stop using them. You'll have to get used to patterns and it may take awhile but it's worth it.

You are right : YOU DON'T NEED TO MAX OUT HOLY WATERS, I just unlocked the achievement and I have only 6 of them.
