Green Items in Score Attack in Area 3

Does anybody know what those cylindrical green items are in Area 3 on the Score Attack mode? The design looks like they are in the same vein as the red and blue support items, but I haven't noticed that they DO anything...

I've also been wodnering about those; actually you can find them in all areas I think. I always thought they either just give you more points when you hit them and enemies (like an additional multiplicator) or just are there to make it harder to get 100% support items ;)

Yeah.. I don't think they do anything but make getting 100% support items more difficult. So really they don't do much supporting then, eh? :P

Watch your score as they explode. They're worth large chunks of points. That's why they don't appear in Play mode: Play mode isn't scored in terms of points.

Is their score multiplied by e.g. an 8x (Max) multiplier, or does it always give you the same amount of points?

I thought they just gave you an extra 1000 points when you collect them but im not sure?

If you look at the top left hand cornor when you get one it comes up and says bonus node if that means anything?

Yes, they give you a set amount of points. I forget how much. They aren't a multiplier. They do count towards the support item percentage. Look for a lot of them to show up at the mini-stage right before Boss #3 where you can target bouncing blocks.

Side-note... on Boss #3 if you destroy all of the red/white containers that dump those annoying flying ships at you.... you'll get a Bonus "5000 points awarded" msg or something similarly named. If you're quick and use an overdrive on the containers, it's not too hard.

the green object gives you points it is best to try and pick them up in a combo to get the most points out of them
