I sent an email to amazon this morning where ther hell my copy of DMC is and I got this back:
"Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting Amazon.co.uk.
Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience, but "Devil May Cry 4 Ltd Edition (X360)" appears to have been a surprise sellout.
Sometimes unexpected fluctuations in supply can add time to our original availability estimate. We have learned that "Devil May Cry 4 Ltd Edition (X360)" is now back-ordered and we now hope that your order will be delivered by April 11, 2008.
Please note that the availability and dispatch times listed on our website are estimates only, and not guarantees. While we do our best to adhere to these estimates, our inventory is constantly changing based on information we receive directly from our suppliers, and occasionally, unexpected fluctuations in supply can add time to your order.
When you placed your order # 203-1787331-3077941, we believed we had access to more copies - we then discovered that every one of our suppliers had rapidly sold out.
Major suppliers have thousands of copies on order from the developer, all apparently awaiting the next distribution run. As soon as more copies become available, we'll be able to dispatch them to our
customers. "
Bullshit!
Sorry but I have been waiting for my game only to find that the game I pre-ordered months ago is now delayed to april?
Amazon have failed.
Before I get a copy somewhere else what do you actually get in the tin edition?
