Need Help!

I'm stuck on the red mission of the far east. I've tried it over and over again! I can get through the first half, but when it asks you to "shoot the enemies down over water" I always get killed.

Any tips?

stick with your light blue support fighters and put your co-pilot on AIR.
this way they will keep the other fighters occupied as well.
