Well, this thread below talked about implementing xFire as an option next to Skype, AIM, etc. How about implementing a Steam one. I remember the clan thinking (thinking) of trying to create a PC clan, unsure about its status, though. It's similar to steam and alot of people use it, just like Steam. It's under the Valve corporation and alot of people that I'm friends with, use it. Here's the picture, I'll get a newer one up if needed.

I'm not really sure what you're trying to suggest here mate, Using a program called Steam for PC Clan games? I myself have never heard of Steam, and from that screenshot, I couldn't see any reference to clans at all. Might just be me though...

To be honest mate, if the Xfire one didn't get accepted I doubt this would.
Good idea though but this forum is dedicated to 360 not PC.

steam is for pc based forums, not xbox forums, simply using aim or even your xbox is better then steam.

i can, first of, most of the people here play on the xbox 360, not on the computer, steam is run by valve, which owns games like counter-strike, TF etc. so steam is used for pc games friendslists, most of us will be on our xbox's not on our pc's when we receive a private msg, so it would almost be pointless.

I never knew that the xFire idea was shot down. But like others, it's just a suggestion. I remember talking with others about grabbing people from Gears (PC), but we were still on the fence about it. If this idea doesn't go through, it doesn't bother me, just a suggestion.

I actually meant by my suggestion that we add a button, like the AIM and Skype for those who use Steam. Steam is just like a PC version of XBL. It gives you a friend list, can DL games, play them in an organized manner, etc. An xFire button would be pretty cool to, for those who are members of x360a who don't only play on the 360...

Nice idea, but I don't think there is enough PC gamers here to generate enough interest to make this a worthwhile thing.
