This is a great link to get back to the part of the site you want to be on, but I don't like the fact that on a page that has almost 30 posts, I have to scroll the whole way back to the top of the page. It would be really nice to just post, let the page update with my post at the bottom, and right below the lowest post it would be there for the clicking.

I don't know if this is possible to implement, but seems like it would be a simple change that people would end up taking for granted because it is so simple.

There's this nifty button called Home/Back on your keyboard, it takes you automatically to the top or bottom of the page, and also you spelled feedback wrong, that's driving me nuts, lol.

I personally like the idea. I really never thought of it that way, but it would make things much easier. Plus, the button is so very simplistic to implement. I can't imagine that it would be a bad thing at all. I never noticed it because I'm into tedious work. It's my lifestyle.

Or we could put a 'Back to top' button on everyones post where it says 'Quote' and 'Reply' so then you can use the navigation bar at the top.

If so, then good idea. But the 'Home' key does work just as quick IMO........

We kinda already have this feature. It's called the forum jump. Its a little scroll down bar at the bottom right of the screen and you click it then choose where you want to go. I don't mean to be an ass or anything but this has already been implemented.

Oh, wow...

In my anguish over the fact that what I wanted was for the exact same thing to be at the top and bottom, I never looked for something different that might have done the same thing. That works perfectly.

As for all this HOME key stuff, I'm feeling dumb, because I can read where it says HOME but...I'm not sure how to make it work. On my Macbook, it is on my left arrow key, so how do I make that do what I want it to?

No worries... whilst on the subject, don't forget that you can press Space/Shift+Space to scroll up or down a page at a time much like page up/down but using a faster combo (ensure you have smooth scrolling enabled for, well, smoother scrolling...).

There is a button on the bottom of the page called TOP.

I asked for this in the subscriber thread, and Minty directed me toward that nifty button.

yup sanction found it, i also have a mouse with a back button on it so there is no need for any of those but sanction has the button you were looking for
