This is just my 2 cents.

If you took the pattern on the left side of the Spawn sig, and put it as the entire background, but used the color on the right, that sig would be friggin sweet. It's still nice, just that the green doesn't really fit. That's my opinion though. Damn it, I'm in the middle of making this post and I can't go back and look at the other one. :mad:

The only thing I'd change about the car one is the text. I'd try to make it mold to the car's shape. If I can find a tutorial for you, I'll post it. I'm no photoshop expert though, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

The first one looks nice, but the red bit on the right mess it up or it would have looked so much better. The second one is so so not really something to go woohoo on. 6/10. The points can go up if you improve them :D.

They're HUGE!

That's a big mistake that some beginners make. It's easily fixed. I think the best sizes to use are either 350x115 or 400x125.

But those are just the sizes I like to use.

Another thing you need is borders.

Of course, I've never used PS 5.5. I suggest getting some tuts once you get CS3 and then post them here. There's a lot more you can do.

The best place to get brushes is deviant art. I get all of mine from there and they have a lot of pretty amazing brushes.

Ahh thats better smaller. I like the color on the fallout 3 but is it my browser or you did not make it transparent behind the text? Looks like you smudge to much on his left arm but its looking good. The joker one is good I like the text you have in there.

If it's already transparent while you're looking at it in CS3, all you have to do is save it as a .png image instead of .jpg
