How do you get 100 ball bearings i have used all of them up trying to get the river troll back to the light do i have to begin a new game and not use the ball bearings?

I found the last balls at the beginning of the tunnels at your own mansion. Just when you entered the undergrond part from the mansion side where you see a lot of stuff just smash with your bat on the ground. Suddenly alot of ball bearings appeared for me

Specifically, you want to hit the old-style manual washing machine. It's on the right just after you enter the cellar.

that gives you 15 of them, as it says in the guide... and make sure you hug the house and do a lap... it was surprisingly not as tough as i thought it would be...
