OK well personally this project I got in my German class (I so want to drop this class next year, assuming I pass the end year test.).So I'm stating home from school today, but in turn for getting off I'm gonna "get Started" on this project due in around 3 weeks. SO i came up with the Idea of posting it here and seeing if i could get some ideas. I'm just going to get down to it and copy the instructions here with unnecessary things left out Underlined things are personal ideas
Due Feb. 29 (...is there a 29Th this year?)
You will be graded on both what you bring in and your written report. You must include a bibliography of at least 2 books and 1 Internet source. (X360a?)
1.Select a German State or a German speaking country and make a poster or brochure advertising it.Also write a 2 page report in English about the country you have chosen.(source of information:travel brochures, travel agency, travel section of the Sunday paper, etc.)
2. Construct something 3 dimensional: a cuckoo clock, a model of a typical German House, a musical instrument (Bach,Beethoven Mozart, etc.) Lead hose, replica of a famous German Building, Model of a German invention (Science/technology), etc.
3. Research a German food. Bring the recipe and the title and author of the book you took it from. In 2 pages in English, explain when the dish is traditionally eaten, whether or not you like it, and why it is typically a German dish. Also tell how to make the food in your own words.(You may bring the dish to class if you receive approval ahead of time. Otherwise you Will need to make the dish at home and bring in a picture demonstrating the preparation of the food.)
4. Write a 2 page report in English about a famous person of Germanic origin (actor,musican,athlete,etc...) telling about his/her life and the country he/she is from. Use your own words. Also make a poster about this person, with captions expiations explaining any pictures you may use.
5. Use your Imagination!!!!!(yes she put 5 !'s) Choose your own topic (but see me first) on something to do with:
Celebrating Holidays
Art or music or songs
Traditional Costumes
Sports
History
Nature
(i used enter, she used spaces..which got canceled out here)
and there we go I know you might be done with school or have your own things to do, but any input might be useful.
