I can't stand the series. It's too boring, the acting is moderate at best, and the race scenes would be awesome, if it wasn't for the amount of CGI used.

If the originals are gonna return then I'll surely watch it, Didn't care at all for the 3rd. I always go to IMDB, and wonder if they're gonna make a XXX: 3 since how they ended it about Samuel Jackson knows who is gonna be the next xXx

The first one was awesome. Second one was okay. And lets not even talk about tokyo drift.

Meh, I agree with what Impulse said. The second one was far from okay, though, it was leaning closer to the "sucking balls" category. Tokyo Drift was something different that had a halfway decent soundtrack. Still didn't like it though.

Yeah the first two were decent but I didn't like the third. Its good if they are returning to its roots tho. Looks promising then.

I liked the first two. If they bring back the originals then I might consider watching it.

These movies are shit. The continuity is garbage and after every single movie every person who walks out of the theater magically knows everything there is to know about cars. I hate these films.

My cousin owns a shop in Virginia, and after the 1st movie all he got were requests to build RX7's and GSX's exactly as they were portrayed in the movie.

I despise these movies.

The second one was over the top on the CGI but the last one, Tokyo Drift had much much less and the stunts and drift sequences were real. I think the detail shots might have been fake, like when one of the cars is shown less than an inch from a wall while drifting a turn, camera angle was along the wall in front of the car and another when a car is drifting a mountain switchback with one tire nearly off the cliff, camera angle from below the car.

This would be an excellent career move for both of them as they both got much press over the first movie. A return to the series would probably do both of them wonders right now!

I'll be watching this for sure. I loved the first 2 and the 3rd was pretty good. I loved the thirds theme song though, who didn't? I just wonder what the background plot will be this time.
