Last Level Help Please!!!

I am on the last level where the turtles have to run up a large indoor tower to get to a safe room.Ive gotten to the bit where you have to use the turtle with the red bandana whoever he is.Now all of this is timed as you only get about a minute before a bright beam erupts from the centre and kills you.My problem is I need to know exactly in detail what to do to get to the safe room above.Ive been stuck on this bit for weeks and am so close to the end of the game its kind of depressing I got stuck here.None of the walkthrough's help they are too vague with this bit of the game.Maybe I'm the only person ever to get stuck here.My theory is as soon as the door opens you run and jump to the left of the screen and make your way accross platforms and swing on some bars,then you get to a pipe which you have to get up to but from there Im stuck.Ive tried going other ways but just cant work it out.
Can anyone help please?
If I had any hair I would of pulled it out by now am so desperate and frustrated,god damn those pesky turtles!

If you are on a platform where you can see some bronze pipes jump in a safe house with ur brother helping you (press X), then wait in a safe house for a beam of light to go away and get out of there. Wait 2 seconds for platform to move and jump beetween pipes all the way up, after that it gets easy. :)

I'm assuming you're talking about the thrid safe zone.

You get to the platform where it looks like the safe zone is to your right and there is a big platform to the left. From there I wall ran to the platform on the left then jumped or tag-team jumped across to the safe zone.
