Always looking for a challenge? Think you are the best of the best? Well, my pitch may help you determine that. As a big forum poster all over, I never once experienced a "Battle Forum". What is a "Battle Forum"? Read on as I explain my pitch in as much detail as possible.

Keep in mind, this is only a suggestive stage. The forum would be challenged based. Where a person would post a thread challenging based on specific standards and people would reply to accept a challenge. For example:

Game: CoD4
Type: Cage Match
Duration: 00:00
Map: Shipment
Weapons: Pistols Only

Then a winner would then, after the match, post the final score and whatever else he wishes. The challenges could just move on from that that thread.

I have eyewitnessed alot of people challenging each other on forum boards in the game thread, which really shouldn't be happening. That forum should be used for help and tips. The "Battle Forum", on the other hand, could keep these steamed arguments on who's better in this specified forum.

I hope you guys like it and constructive criticism is allowed. This is just one of the few ideas I am thinking about. So please, post your opinion, thoughts, or any additional add-ons that would make this idea more likable. Thanks and happy forum surfing! :)

The basic Idea is good and could be fixed with an looking for a match thread? Which should be in cod4 already.

I just checked and the COD4 Forum does have a Looking for a match thread. Its just a matter of getting people to use the stickies.

Even if it was for that you could have a bragging rights thread like we do in the GH3 forum. It works nice a keeps things neat the way they're suppose to be.

That's true, the stickies are a great source of achievement trading and for finding people to play with. It's just that those are mainly based on achievement trading or friendly matches. :)

And not only would it be for bragging rights, but it would make it easier for people to challenge people in such a calm and friendly environment. I mean, I would love to challenge some clan members to a 1v1 if the "Battle Forum" was implemented. I agree that the basic idea is well rounded, but that's what feedback's all about, help from my fellow forum friends.

EDIT: Went snooping around for those stickies, but they are rarely used. Halo 3 is still widely played by people (*cough* Maka *cough*). That forum is rarely used now; I know Maka (sorry for using him as a prime example) loves Halo and I don't think he would deny a healthy little challenge.

Yea dude I understand. Sorry If I sounded like an ass as it is late and i'm tired so my first instinct just came out. But my honest input is that at most the mods or admins will let another sticky in a doubt it can become a whole forum unless its a clan specific thing in which case it could be solved with a sticky once again.

Oh no, don't think you sound like an ass. I like the conversation and I'm hoping this thread can stay alive so that many other people can see it and put their own input in. The admins and mods don't mind the extra sticky, but what happens when that thread gets nothing new and people don't use it anymore, like COD2 for example. Great game, but the forum or the clan can't get people to play. This forum would implement a whole sub forum that would allow all challenges to join in and start challenging. It's a big assignment, but hopefully more can embark on this debate. :p
