Need help on blue orb fragment mission 3

Near the start of mission 3 you have to grapple onto the floating grapple points. Then when you are at the top, you jump to the right onto a hardly visible platform then jump onto another one to the right of that. Then you wall grapple until a wall, then wall jump to continue grappling until you see the fragment on a platform. However for some reason i CAN NOT get onto this platform. Is there another secret grapple point? Do i have to go in a certain direction to land on the platform?? I just can't seem to do it, and i really want it because i am to complete this pretty well. If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.

Maybe you need to buy the "Air Hike" ability to get that one done.

Actually you need Air Hike to even get there :).

No it is a certain angle to have to land on the platform to get there. It is very annoying but it can be done.

I can't reach opposite platform from exit to cave. Anyone knows how to perform a far, far jump to reach these platform and obtain third blue orb from mission 03?

It may be possible to use Dante to do this as using his trickster style his B move becomes a horizontal jump, and when he is in DT he can do this twice, he may also jump higher (not sure on that though), i'll check this out when I get a chance.

you have to have air hike, and then on the 2nd grapple, air hike up, use grim grip on the orb above you, grab the next one, and WAIT until your right beneath the orb so it will launch you up when you use it. If you do it just right youll land perfectly on the platform, I had max grim grip when i did this, dont believe it needs to be maxed, but this one was a pita, and dante cannot use orbs so it would be impossible him to trickster up here

Yeah I've just realised that, being as Dante doesn't have the devil arm he couldn't possible help here, my bad :p

I've gotten that one with out the air hike. After i got to the middle section and jumped up to the top platform, i used the demon grab twice then wall jumped off the wall to the right and was then able to grab the blue grab point right above me.

I recently went back to this mission and got all 3 of the blue crystals on the level. To get the first you'll need to be Nero go to the top of the first set of grab points you'll now be standing infront of the entrance to the next area (leads outside to the castle), behind you is a platform joined to a small room inside this room there is the first blue crystal. To get into this room charge toward the screen Rb + Y, then use the Roulette Spin (In mid air YY - pause Y) to hang in the air, and then Air Hike (A) onto the platform.

From the platform used to reach the first crystal (before chargin at the screen) jump to the left were there will be two more grab points, use both to reach a wall on the right side of the screen, once you've reached this wall jump up the wall and grab another grab point (this one is currently off screen) from this grab the second and third jump points to reach a platform that has the second blue crystal.

The final crystal on this level is inside a mirror on the second floor just south of the button used to lower the blue barriers around the door and balconies.
