How many out there like myself have beaten the game and only need 1 flag to completely finish the game (1k it). I regretfully didn't use guides when i started and now only need 1 Richard flag for 1k pts.

The annoyance of searching the entire kingdom has me not even looking lol

I missed one somewhere in Acre, but I found it eventually. If you don't want to just look for that one, you can restart and get all 100. Either way, you're gonna have to go through and look at all 100 spots, although if you look now it is likely that you will find it before you get to the 100th spot. I would just sit down and do it now.

did you use a map? maybe htere is a flag you didn't mark, i forgot one flag in the camp near acre, there are 7 flags near each other

Sign me up for the On Flag Club. I ran into this problem in Jerusalem. I went through with the map guide on assassinscreed-maps.com website about three times. What I had to do was delete the information I had on my hard drive. I had to play through again anyway to get the conversationalist achievement. So when I go through I have a check list for every templar and flag. Deleting the memory allowed all the flags to re-applier and I can go through once again.

I really feel for all you guys who are missing one flag. That sucks. Especially since this game sucks so much. :P Anyway, I think the best thing to do is to start a new game, and just get them all at the same time, and check off every flag as you get them. Your going to have to check every location anyway.

I was part of this club for a decent while. I was playing through a second time to do the flag hunting and I'd found every flag except one kingdom flag, but I'd crossed off every location on the map. I was so frustrated that I was just aimlessly leaping through one of the villages in the Kingdom trying to decide what to do when I saw it shimmering gloriously across the square on a second floor balcony. I immediately looked at the in-game map, compared it to the guide that I was using, and realized it was nowhere near anything marked on the map. Either way, I snagged it as fast as I could and then saw that beautiful little icon pop up -- Achievement Unlocked! I hope there's never another achievement like that every again.

I know this feeling... Haven't tried clearing the cache yet. Does anybody know whether it helps? I did have the problem with the game freezing the counter for quite some time and collected quite a number of flags in that meantime...

Oh well, guess I'll just have to do a replay then to get those last 2 achievements.

Apparently to clear the Xbox 360 hard drive cache you can hold down the A button as a game was booting up.

Or now with the update you can clear the whole cache, go to the system blade and then select memory.
Press Y on the HD symbol and then press X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X. Once you do this a messsage will appear saying: Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?

I have not tried either of these I am simply passing info on. It will also delete all games updates so hence why I will not try it!!! Don't fancy downloading these again, although might be fun going back to old glitches in games locally!!

I tried performing maintenance YXX LB RB XX, I tried holding A, and I tried holding LB RB while booting up. None of these worked. I tried pre-patch and post-patch, and my missing flags still didn't reappear. Is there a "clear cache" method that people are using other than these that actually worked?

To be honest it is unlikely to be that anyway. Just found my last one, what a feeling that is, was starting to think about starting again. Mine was number 60 up on top of a post!!

Yeah... The problem is, is that I know I didn't miss any. I usually went 1-33 or 1-34 in order from the onset (only stopping to hit highpoints for better visibility of the map etc). In the last section in Damas--number 5 simply never spawned. I went to 1, 2, 3, 4--all good, then went for 5 and it simply wasn't there. I've used Firestorm's maps the entire time, so I know I didn't miss one. These maps have been dead on. This one simply didn't show up. I'll check again tonight but, I have a feeling 1000 in this game isn't going to happen. (Don't want to play through a third time).

Former member of the club for the Kingdom flags. It took me an hour and a half to go thru around 80% of the flags till the one I needed finally showed. The feeling of completion was well worth it.

Unfortunately, I ended up 2 templars short, and 2 flags short in what I think would be the Kingdom. Probably the best thing for me to do would be to start over on a fresh game and go through it again?

Your guide was a huge help to me. I printed off maps, as well as checked them off on your webpage from the moment I started this game. Some of the flags however, didn't seem to spawn for me. Even though I used the guide throughout--certain ones simply weren't there. After my second run through and having different flags glitch at different times, I decided to give this one a rest for a bit. ;)

Well U can count me out of this club THANK GOD!!! redoing the game for the glitch & convo achievements and didn't touch the kingdom at all..

but bit bored today thought I'd give it another crack - this time followed the assassinscreedmaps.com kingdom map to the letter even going forward and back on myself so that the numbers matched the flags so I knew that I was 100% on track

that N0 100 flag was most satisfying

Well, I'm not done with the game but I've been going by the walkthrough for the entire game. I even developed my own checklist (see attachments) to help make sure I didn't miss any of those pesky flags. Well, guess what. Somehow I have 99/100 in the Kingdom. I think I am on track for the Templars but I was too tired last night to verify my count. I just finished memory block 4 (6th assassination) and had gone back to the Kingdom to get the last remaining flags. My jaw dropped when I picked up my "last flag" and it said 99/100 and no achievement popped up. OMG, I about died. I went back and rode on the hoarse to find the ones in plain sight and re-marked those as complete. I guess I'll have to fight all those freakin' guards one more time to check for the remaining one.

If for some reason I can't find it, I've read where people have suggested to clear your game cache. This doesn't clear your game save file does it? I wanted to check before I did that. I think I'm on target to get the CONVERSATION and KNOWLEDGE achievements so I didn't want to start over unless I missed one of those. Either way I may just wait until the end of the game to go back to the Kingdom to waste my time.... even more.

I absolutly give all full credit to my success (so far) to http://www.assassinscreed-maps.com. I'd be lost without that. Since I can't always play for long amounts of time, I had to create my own checklist b/c the web site wouldn't save my checked items. No big deal. The true help was the screen shots and locations. just look and stop whining. believe me its worth the 1k. me and my friend spent about 5 hourse straight look for the flags in kingdom. we like checked 4 times over.

If for some reason I can't find it, I've read where people have suggested to clear your game cache. This doesn't clear your game save file does it? I wanted to check before I did that.

No its doesn't delete your save, just all the updates, system info etc so every game U load up will need updating again?

but I 'cleared' the cache and I still couldn't find the last poxy flag in the kingdom - so when I went through 2nd time for the convo & glitches achievements did it in 1 hit then starting from 1 doing it in numerical order from assassincreedmaps.com so I knew I was not missing any, as the flags matched the number - if u know what I mean

Yeah, I have 99/100 in the kingdom and I just counted and realized I have 1 missing Templar from somewhere. I would guess he is in the kingdom as well. When I get to the end of the game, I'm gonna clear my cache and go searching. The cities are easy to go back through but the kingdom has so many freakin' guards that instantly want to attack. Especially in the camp areas.

I went to every green dot... but when i already killed 20 templars when i completed the game..
so i have no freaking idea where he could be...

You have to have the GRAB capability. If you are at that point in the game where you have gained the grab capability then when you jump to the pillar, GRAB and then climb up. It still takes some practice tho. :) Search this forum to find out when you get the grab capability to know if you are there.

I just got through Jerusalem going for all 100 flags and ended up with 99. I then proceeded to look in ALL 100 spots AGAIN and didn't find it.

Any ideas of flags that are commonly missed in the 3 districts of Jerusalem?

There were my final 2 Templars...go figure -_-

Now I'm slowly going through the Rich district of Jerusalem to hopefully find the last flag for the final achievement to 100% the Creed :)

Crap. Seems I'm in here kind of. I've only been in Masayaf, Kingdom, and Damascus (Poor). Kingdom and Masayaf were done with Templars and flags no problem. However, Damascus (Poor) is where I have one more to find. ANywhere that the flags are a bit easy to miss? I used Firestorm's guide on most (some I got before I even started using a guide) and even went back to look at all 33 spots to see if I missed anything.

I DID clear my cache just right now so I'm going to re-look at all 33 spots and match the spots up with the screenshots exactly. I'll tell ya when/IF it works and where the missing flag was.

My luck has come to an end... 99/100 Saracen flags... OH LOOK. I'm having trouble with Damascus... Everyone has trouble with it. I know I didn't miss any flags though. I used a guide and checked each flag off >_<. Time to go through it again.

What a waste of time... Seriously. I know I was on count for the first 2 districts. I had 66/100... And now I'm almost 100% sure I didn't miss any flag in the Middle District, but hey... I guess I'll stay at 99/100 until I do Jerusalem.

I'd like to join the One Flag Club. Well, I wouldn't like to join it, but it seems I have. Depsite following a guide for both Templars and Flags, I have 59 out of 60 Templars (I know which one I've missed but he won't spawn), and 99 out of 100 flags in Damascus (again, I know which one I'm missing - #23 in Middle) but it won't spawn.

I just got this game and I hate these collect achievements lol because like you guys I miss one or two and it just takes so damn long to go back and see where you missed one. Like saints row I missing one CD and I just said the hell with it :)

Woohoo! Sorry to drag up an old(ish) thread but I just got the last flag and the last templar and I had to tell someone. I am no longer a member of the 99 flag club! I did it the long way, playing the whole game through again, but boy it feels good.

Just thought I would stop by and say I almost joined the elite forces of the 1 flag club yesterday lol. I was only in Masyaf!!! I do believe it was flag 9 I overlooked somehow. The maps are slightly off on only a couple of flags. I actually just stumbled upon the last one I needed by wondering aimlessly about the area I figured it to be in. No easy task though... time consuming mostly.
I cleared through every flag in Damascus (poor). Now working on Acre (poor).

if its not there than you might have got it already by mistake or its a glitched flag. just like i have gone through the whole of the kingdom going from 1 - 100 and i end up with 98 because 2 flags weren't showing because they are glitched. best solution switch your 360 on and off again or clear your cache by doing the following:


To clear the cache on the Xbox 360 do the following:

Go to the Xbox Dashboard, select the System Blade, and select Memory.
Highlight the HD symbol and press Y.
Press X, X, Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X, X.
by doing this you will clear your hardrive of any updates so when you load the game up again after doing this don't update the game and hopefully the missing flag shall appear.

I missed one in Jerusalem, I went through it twice, did not find it, so I have started the whole game again, though there were a few other ones I needed to get (templars!!!!)

I was part of this club for a decent while. I was playing through a second time to do the flag hunting and I'd found every flag except one kingdom flag, but I'd crossed off every location on the map. I was so frustrated that I was just aimlessly leaping through one of the villages in the Kingdom trying to decide what to do when I saw it shimmering gloriously across the square on a second floor balcony. I immediately looked at the in-game map, compared it to the guide that I was using, and realized it was nowhere near anything marked on the map. Either way, I snagged it as fast as I could and then saw that beautiful little icon pop up -- Achievement Unlocked! I hope there's never another achievement like that every again.

I think you are hoping in vain. Game developers seem to think collecting thingies is mandatory for a game, especially sandbox-games. For me it started with orbs in crackdown. Later came recordings in bioshock, locations in two worlds etc... In-game collectables are here to stay.
Back to the topic at hand. Can you tell us which map you used. Because that is the map to avoid!
I myself have found all flags by doing every part of a city as soon as it unlocks.

I myself have found all flags by doing every part of a city as soon as it unlocks.

I do the same thing. Whenever a new part of a city unlocks, I scale every high point, save every citizen, and complete every investigation before intentionally collecting flags and killing Templars. Because I'm afraid of running into a glitch, I make quick notes in Notepad about what I've done. I haven't run into any problems.

UPDATE: I have killed all 60 templars and collected all 420 flags on the first time through the game. I took notes right up until the end and never encountered a glitch in the game's programming.

Yeah sign me up for the club. I've checked every map and guide i can find for the last jerusalem flag, and ive checked all flag locations at least 3 or 4 times. So im gonna assume the bastard is glitched. Anyone know if theyve patched this in the last 6 or 7 months?

i used to have 1 flag left in the kingdom but started from the begining and it was the first place i looked. i think it was in acre where i spent 3 hours checking all the flag spots. one of the places where all districts have the same flag. i now have 1000gs for it.

I missed one flag in Damascus, low and behold, I accidently missed a ledge on a jump from one roof to the next, and there it was, right in front of me. Sorry to all of you still searching.

The Kingdom templars are glitchy as hell too. I got into a fight with a bunch of guards by flags 12-15, then jumped across the broken bridge to dispatch the templar and he wasn't there. I left and came back, nothing. I went about my business and came back, he was there and the last thing I've done on this game as he blood netted me 40G. The other templar I had trouble with was the templar right next to flag 54. The screenshot also has a note that he is glitchy, so make sure to check him after every couple of flags in that area as they have a tendency of "resetting" the game sometimes.

I'm really excited to say that as of today I am no longer a member of the 1 Flag...er...Templar club. After ignoring this game for months (dreading the task of searching the whole game for one templar) I finally put in about 4 hours today and found that bastard on the northeast corner of the Kingdom.

1000/1000....I would have thrown this game if I wasn't giving it to someone as a gift tomorrow.

Best of luck on this. Clear your cache before you go looking for it. Check the ruins by the infamous flag, and check the guard camp. There's a lot in those areas and it's easy to miss 1, not to mention some of them are tricky to get to.

Well, as of last night I am out of the 1 Flag club but still in the 1 Templar club. I had been 99/100 in the Kingdom for a long time. I went back and started looking for my last Templar when lo and behold, there sits my last flag up on a small building. Not really sure how I would have missed it since it was wide out in the opening. It was near a lookout point right before you get to the large camp.

Now, as for the missing Templar, I haven't finished going to each location but I'm almost done. Hopefully I can find the last one and finish this game... 5 months later. :(

The flag may have been missing / invisible before but I have cleared my cache and I installed the update before I started my quest to find these missing items.

also i am getting really mad seeing people with 100% in mercenaries 2, that game has glitched achievements and it's impossible for me to get my last 1 i need.

the templar i am sure that is glitched for me is the templar west of flag #36, i remember not killing any templar until i started to search for them. the flag i believe is either somewhere in the middle section, the ruins, or the camp on the bottom left because i was rushing through those 3 areas...

oh and i have tried to clear my cache and that templar on the bottom isn't showing up...i am 100% sure that the templar is in kingdom because i went through the city's and there weren't any. oh and that 1 templar on top of that church, you know the tallest building in the game. i through him off of the building, does that count as killing him? i am sure it does but i just want to make sure it does. if anyone responds to this message could you send me a message on my xbox live name.

I had some trouble finding one of the Jerusalem flags. If you are using assassinscreed-maps.com maps, you can see that in the rich district there are two question marks at the bottom of the map. Those are for poor district flags, but #14 was my problem. The pic looks like the first ledge, but if you go up all the ladders there, the flag will be at the top. The first time I went through the flags, I had thought I had gotten that one already, but I didn't. I just had to go up all the way. This was my problem. Hope this helps...

I know, I know...I've said about 20 times on here that I don't have the patience to go back and get the flags in this game, but I missed playing it, so I decided to go back and get them. Well, I used the AC maps website and went flag by flag, lined up my screen to match the pics, and wouldn't you know it, I'm missing one in the Kingdom. Yay! I cleared my cache and I'll try again tonight.

Well, I found mine last night, luckily with minimal searching. It was flag #71 on assassinscreed-maps. When I lined that one up the first time it looked right and the flag was "missing" and it's in such a high traveled place that I thought I must have picked it up earlier, but in reality it was about 3 feet away behind another piece of rock. That's a tricky one, because you can line it up and it looks almost identical to the pic, but you can be in the wrong spot.

Got my 1000Gs on this yesterday by collecting flag #22 in Kingdom, I believe I probably just assumed I had got it, because it is quite an obvious one to find, :P. The need to find 420 flags and 60 Templer was an appaling amount to search for and I seriously hope it's not expected in AC2.
