Stuck on legend

I am stuck on legend difficulty at the bit where you have to close two big round rock type doors(episode 10???), sometimes i am lucky enough to get one door closed(not very often), but if i get my men to the other door they get over run and leave the door and i cannot get them back in time, any tips would be grateful as i enjoyed it up to this point now it makes me ill, oh yeah are the enemies at this bit infinite,cheers.:)

i think i know what point you're talking about. and yes, the enemies are infinite.

best bet: run to the door that is on a higher platform first, send 3 guys to close the other door, and send 3 guys to close the door on the higher platform (where you are, and is easier to defend)

cheer your guys on to close the door at the top, if done in time you should've closed the door only letting 1-2 guys thru, defeat them and then take out all of the other guys that come running at you. stay on the platform and they won't bother the other 3 closing the door slowly.

then clear them out, and take out the ogre, then they should be finished with closing off the door.

I just completed the game (1k) and the best bet is to make sure you have them boosted and focus closing one, protect the Thanes closing the door you are closest to. When you kill the enemy waves cheer them on a bit, then kill kill kill...you do not have to close the doors in order to complete the episode. It just helps.

Damn i must suck, i only have three guys with me when i get to that bit, are you saying that i should use the heroic side rather than the other

Wow, at that point you should have saved at least 2 Thane prisoners. When you hear "save me lord Beowulf" etc etc you should look around as there is probably a Thane prisoner around. they will boost your total Thane level. Going to be hard with just the 3 thanes. I suggest starting over and hit up the forum so you can get all your Thanes. It will save you time and frustration in the long run. You will get back there faster too. I beat the game in 2.5 hours the second time through. Let me know if you need any help. I netted all achievements.

I have saved two prisoners, so I should have five guys helping, I will put the game back in after and check, although i swear i only have three blokes with me :(

After you see how many you have on your list check back on the forum and see what the max number you should have. The list is complete and you'll be able to tell where you stand on that issue. Good luck man!!

here im stuck on the ice bit and i gotta break ice block to defend my allies and im on this bit i got to to jump and grab on to this stone sign thing and i have to grab on to the other one and i keep on slipping on the ice what button do i need to press to make him jump a bit faster cheers

Ok sorry guys I actually had 7 blokes with me, when the level started I just ran down the slope and sent 3 guys to the door, i did not beven know the others were there, I feel a complete ass now(hangs head in shame), I have done it now, just got to defend the relic thing now, thanks for you help,cheers.

Glad you got it man. If you ever need help let me know. I play a ton of games and enjoy helping out. To the guy stuck on the Ice level...this is your tip. hold down the B button when you swing to the other hand hold...just hold B and you will throw yourself to where you need to be. Good luck!
