According to Void Star Creations website, Poker Smash will be released next week on the Live arcade. I for one can say this has been a long time coming.

The achievements in this game are all very easy actually, besides that one "25 chain" or whatever thing. You should have no problem getting the rest...

it's really fun, I've been playing it for hours... but I've always liked panel de pon, and that's pretty much what this is... every new panel de pon release I end up playing the game for hours a day months in a row.... heh...

This may sound like a noob question but what is "panel de pon?"
Also I really want to play this game, I always liked Tetris Attack on SNES and this is somewhat similar...in a way

Dude, just go to google and type in "panel de pon wiki" or even just "panel de pon"...
Panel De Pon was the original name for the game that forms the basis for Tetris Attack, it's a Nintendo puzzle game so they have used the same basic game over the years and just added in their own stuff, like pokemon or in Tetris Attack's case, people from various Nintendo games. (Planet Puzzle Leauge on DS too)
When it all comes down to it though, all these games are running on the same basic "panel de pon" engine.
Panel de Pon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetris_Attack) (Super Famicom (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Famicom), Japan)
Tetris Attack (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetris_Attack) (SNES, North America)
Pokémon Puzzle League (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Puzzle_League) (Nintendo 64 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_64))
Pokémon Puzzle Challenge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Puzzle_Challenge) (Game Boy Color (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_Boy_Color))
Dr. Mario & Puzzle League (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr._Mario_%26_Puzzle_League) (Game Boy Advance (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_Boy_Advance) - multipack)
Nintendo Puzzle Collection (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_Puzzle_Collection) (GameCube (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GameCube) - multipack)
Planet Puzzle League (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planet_Puzzle_League) / Panel de Pon DS (Nintendo DS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_DS))
I'm honestly not trying to be rude or anything but how could anyone ever say Poker Smash is a Bejeweled clone when it's 100% and without a single doubt a complete panel de pon clone, besides for the few new features they added.. Just search youtube for game footage for those games in the above list....
