Ok, so I'm at 980/1000 right now...I just got all of the flags (thank Jesus I didn't mess up and have any problems with that) and the templars (finally found that last one!). The only achievement I missed was Conversationalist...LAME. Do I have to go all the way through the game again or will it remember which conversations I had during my first play through and then add the ones I missed so that I wouldn't have to go all the way through the game again (I have a feeling the ones I missed are near the beginning of the game)?

You have to go all the way through again. You can do it in a day if you rush.

Sorry man. You have to start at the beginning again. For future questions, check the guide first.;)
I have to learn to type faster or how to kill the people that beat me to things. Either one works.

I was in the same position as you when I finished (about a month ago). Anyways, I was in the mood for AC on sunday so decided to go back for that achievement, and with no messing around and doing the bare minimum (2-3 missions per assassination, and only the necessary viewpoints to get them) I had the game done in just under 9 hours. With meals during gameplay. The second time through is a lot quicker since you already know what you are doing.
EDIT: Also, since you know what you can/cant get away with, you know you can just stab people that get in your way. It's amazing what you can do before they get wise. But yeh go for it, its a great game, and I enjoyed it just as much the second time round.

I loved the game too, I just wish the only achievement I missed wasn't so freakin' lame.

Yep I did the same thing, follow the dialogue list that is stickied here. I managed to play the whole thing over in about 7-8 hours.

How I wish you can unlock that by going through the quickplay options...

I have already started a new game. I have completed the first three assassinations, and everything is going well. I really love all of the guides on this site. They are so helpful. I have been using the Conversationalist guide, and it makes me a heck of a lot less nervous about missing something. This site owns.

I agree 100%. I also used that guide when i did it last week and it helped immensely. To think I used to stumble around blind in games. Reading these forums has been the best move Ive made.

I'm almost finished. I'm working on the 8th assassination right now. This game is great.
EDIT: Now only Robert left!

The game is really great, but Repetative....I wondering what Assassin's Creed 2 will be like, and if they will continue the Flags

I hated the flags. That was awful. I could understand maybe 100 total like the hidden packages in GTA, but 420?? That's ridiculous...

I have question similar to this... I missed the Seeker of Knowledge achievement, the one you need to press button during cutscenes.. I finished the game, so can i go back to the old mission and see the cutscene glitches i missed and get the achievement or do i have to start new..?

I went back and did it during the weekend after I finally got the achievement I almost threw up and I haven't touched the game since then even though I need one more achievement.
