How are you spending April 29th?

I was really hoping that this game was going to come out on its October date right in time for birthday like the previous ones. I can honestly say I was devastated when I found out that it was going to be delayed. The longer that this game had gone without a new release date the more worried I was that this game wouldn't come out for a while. I was so glad to see an official date on the homepage a few days ago.

Anyways, even before this date I've told my mom that I'm not going to school whenever this game comes out. It's my senior year and it'll be only about a month and a half away from graduation. I'm going straight to Best Buy when they open and spending the rest of my date playing this game. I'm looking so forward to it and it'll be nice to have a day to really dive into this game. How will you guys spend your April 29th?

Well for starters I am going to schedule to have that day off.

I will wake up around 9 or so, help feed my son get him ready to go out, get ready myself hop in the car with my wife and son in tow.

Stop in bestbuy to pick up my preorder ;), drive down the road about a mile to get my wife something around the range of 60 bucks as well... gotta be fair guys hehe.

After I get home I will flop down on the couch, start up my 360, and prepare for my most anticipated game over the last few years :).

Let's see, if there is a midnight release by me..I will start the 29th outside of Gamestop, then I will be playing until I can't play anymore. I will be taking off work and class to make sure I can play it all day.

If there's no midnight release, I will sleep, then go to Gamestop when it opens, get it, and continue as previously planned.

Well...my one friend went nuts waiting for ssbb...my other went nuts for halo3 (eh) and to me....gta4 is my game. I've been waiting for this thing since the next gen systems launched. I always thought "oh wow...i wonder what gta would look like on this." and a couple years after 360 launches...the graphics are way better. I'm actually glad they postponed till now...I know October was supposed to be the day...but they probably fixed alot of problems and enhanced alot of sections of the game, so this is for the best. With a month to go....I'll be hoping the EB i reserved it at will have a midnight launch...and if so, I'm gonna be there to grab it and skip my classes for the 29th....seeing as my exams aren't until May 4th...woop...sorry PSU haha.

I think my AP exams start that following week but hopefully I can be prepared for them in time because nothing is slowing me down from GTAIV when it comes out! After that shocking news back in October that the game was being delayed it's so refreshing that the game has a set date and that it is almost a month away.
