I don't know what's going on but in the past 10 minutes I've gotten 5 messages from 3 different people, 1 person asking if I wanted to pay them 1600MS points for him to glitch my Gears of War achievements, and the other 2 just saying, read my bio...and both of their bios said ILL PAY FOR ACHIEVEMENTS...Just a heads up, I deleted one of them on accident, but 2 gamertags to look out for... ThE J ShOcK(looking to glitch Gears) and X Iv HavoC vI X .... just look at his bio... just giving a heads up to look out, I'm not sure where else they would've found my tag besides the site, but I've been getting bugged for the past half hour I've been on.

Same here - only got one message though. I checked their gamertag on xbox.com and for some reason it came back as invalid. I didn't think much of it at the time, so I just deleted the message. I don't think it was one of the tags you listed though.

Sad... Wonder if they'd by "mystery tags" Take the money and just sell them your fake tag with 0GP. Show them the contract saying "You buy my tag for £50 or whatever they pay" and they can't do anything.

In situations like these you must be vigilant and steal their accounts to teach them a lesson =)

I think there was a list of gamertags to look out for somewhere on the forums, 'twould be lovely to get it back up to add all of the annoying new people trying to buy achievements etc.

I say the reason everyones getting these odd ball messages is because just about anyone can see who's on your bud list now. So they probably just looked at one of your friends bud list and saw you there. Then the spamming begun. This is the reason why I blocked people to have access to mine.

Paying people to play most games for you is a bad sign, I think we all agree on that. l2play instead of pay.

Paying someone to play Avatar for you ... not really much that can be said about that.

Can't stand people like that. I'm going to earn them myself, Getting somebody else to do achievements for you is even worse than gamesaving. At least gamesavers have to play ten seconds of the game before they get most achievements.

I agree with that and getting someone to do avatar is probably the lowest thing imaginable!
