I got both dirt and pgr4 sent to me from gamefly today. Could any of you tell me which game is the quicker 1000points? It's a lame question but I need to know which to send back seeing how I won't have time to play both while I'm in the gamerscore league.

It depends how good you are at the games. PGR4 isn't quick nor easy if you're not highly skilled and can't complete the Platinum medals. Dirt will tak you around 20 hours for the full 1000. You're probably looking at Dirt for the quickest mate...

Yeah, DiRT game me 725 or so relatively quickly...but what's so bad about 2 racing games? Those are the best genre! :p
EDIT - I didn't realize how late I posted, sorry :o...

Yea, it is easy points for the first 500 or so, then it gets a bit harder.

he's looking for quicker easier games for the GSL he didn't want to keep 2 games if they had heavy time requirement.

PGR4's come pretty quickly but for a full 1000 I couldn't tell seeing as I haven't played Dirt. It also really depends if you're able to get all platinums on PGR and gotham career can drag on. I know both are pretty easy to get the majority of the points in. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to just pick up some easy ones in each game and then go ahead and focus more on one unless you like having a high completion percentage.

You should just play them both. They're both great games.

Having played both, I'd say Dirt is much easier, but the 1000 miles achievement can be time consuming if you don't use any of the donut/reset tricks. The championships also take quite a while (one of them is 36 races if I remember right?)

I only have PGR4, I can say that you could have a quick and easy 700, after it's more challenging, and getting the full 1000 will be difficult.
My suggestions, follow the guide, in arcade mode focus on silver medals, and for the carrer put the difficulty on easy. When you see that you'll loose a race, pause the game then restart. Don't loose any majors.
Most of online achievements are easy and fast to obtain, or try to boost with someone, each achievement can be unlocked in one race.

I guess I'll try dirt out... Racing isn't my best genre, I haven't even played a racing game on my 360 other than my burnout 3 disc. Oh well, hopefully it'll be like Skate and I'll love both so much I won't be able to put them down.
Thanks for the advice everyone!

Good choice!
I rented Dirt the other day and its great, although I don't mind racing but I'm sure you will still enjoy none the less.

Racing use to be one of my top genres back when it had more of an arcade feel. Now it all feels too simulated and boring. I mean, if I'm playing a game, I wanna do stuff I can't do irl. The old need for speeds you could blaze through a right angle in a Mclaren going 160mph.
