Any of you go on a trip w/ your 360? Say you go on a business trip and game at your hotel, or you go for an extended visit with relatives and you know you will have time to game over there. Something similar.

I might have to go on an extended business trip soon and I think I might take my 360 along for the ride

My 360 comes with me when I go to stay with my cousin, or when I go on trips for work and such... I'd miss it too much otherwise... (I usually bring both GH Guitars in a gigbag aswell)

I think I'm and addict ;)

For even more options when you are traveling, I highly suggest you purchase an av cable that supports vga output. They are readily available on eBay for about 10 bucks and include both AV (white, yellow, and red) cables and a VGA output. Happy traveling :D

I'm mostly too paranoid to take mine out too much, althuogh I'm starting to overcome the fear.

I brought my XBox with me to my family's place last time I visited. The people at airport security made me pull it out of my back pack and said they had to treat it like it was a laptop, so it needed a separate bin and everything. :P It was well worth the minor irritation to have it while I was away though. :)

I think thats really obsessive taking a games console away with you on Holiday ,or staying at a mates/relatives house for a week. You go there to relax and get away from daily life, and mainly socialise; not play the 360! :p I personally can go a few days without playing it. When I come back to playing, I seem to enjoy it more.

Haha well, i usually do pretty well without it and iv'e never taken it on holidays with me, but sometimes i get the gaming bug BAD. My ecksbawks killed itself a month ago, so i was without gaming for like 2 weeks, i was on edge the whole time lol

I took it on vacation with me over Christmas break. Those stupid hotel tvs don't have the right plugs, though. Fortunately we brought a tiny 18 inch with us.

Same. Although depending on where I'm going I really don't care about bringing the 360 together. For example if I'm going to the beach I won't bring a videogame with me o.O But if I'm going to a parent's house (which has mostly nothing to do and I'm just going cause all my family is) then I'd want to bring it. But then comes the fear of it being damaged during the trip, soo...

I remember when I travelled with my basketball team and we hooked up a Playstation 2 on the hotel room, so we went to sleep like 4am and woke up 8am and played XD Guess that's why we lost at the finals huh

Every year we go up to visit family in Delaware and usually around Memorial Day weekend. Last two trips I brought my 360. First time I couldn't play because I found out on the way up my video cable for my component cables was broken so I couldn't play anything. Last time mostly just played some Crackdown when we weren't doing anything. Also took it up with me to Tennessee 2 years ago and probably again when we go back this summer. May not be able to get in a lot of gaming but it's nice to still have something to play.

My 360 only leaves the house when I'm going over a mates, since I already have a VGA Cable I normally just take that and use a monitor :)

I agree with you generally, but my family doesn't have an XBox 360, so it was quite a social event for us to play Rock Band. :)

I don't think I'll bring it every time I visit, but while the novelty is still fresh, and if my brothers ask me too, I'll bring it along.

I really don't go on long journeys and if I do, I will only be gone for 2-3 days. I'd bring my PSP instead.

When I'm away from home I take my DS and/or laptop. I don't want to risk damaging my 360, since they're so fragile with the red rings of doom and whatnot ;)

Haha, I fear the same! Better bring a portable to ease the boredom! And besides, what if microsoft creates a portable version of the Xbox360? Hmnn...:woop:

I've got the VGA cable for the 360 and a 17" LCD that is easily portable. I've taken the 360 with me on a few occasions when I'm going somewhere relatively close when I know I won't have anything else to do.

However I'm also very skeptical about carrying mine over long distances for fear of being without it permanently rather than just a few days.

i take mine out and about with me when i can. if i visit my parents i take it to play at night when everyone sleeping. what i really want is an xbox handheld to rack up GS on the move! i would pay a lot of money for that.

I leave my 360 at home and only take the Memory Unit with my account on it with me, and maybe a game or two

I've always taken consoles with me on vacation and what not. Good way to kill time when you're bored or waiting for something.

You lot are on the wrong 360a. This is 360 achievements. Not 360 Anonymous :p
Personally i'd just take the mrs's DS and be happy enough, as long as I wasn't gone long lol.

Depends on where I'm going. I've brought my 360 over to my sisters place when her and the boyfriend leave town for a while and I have to house sit. If I go to michigan, I'll only bring my HDD though. It's too risky carrying around the 360. It gets broken just sitting there. Chances are it'll definitely break moving it.
