New Bond film title is announced....

The next James Bond film is to be called Quantum of Solace, producers have confirmed. The title is taken from one of a collection of short stories published by 007 creator Ian Fleming in 1960.
The new film, which will see Daniel Craig reprise his role as the iconic British agent, will also feature Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko.

Anyway, agree with Casino being the best Bond film IMO. Only thing it was lacking was a fit bird, and they've rectified that this time round. Quality film name, Quality actor as Bond, Quality fit bird. Surely it must equal Quality film.

Daniel Craig was suprisingly good, Casino Royale is my second favourite bond film so I will be looking forward to this. Goldeneye is my favourite bond film, you just cant beat that film.

Director Marc Forster is in charge of work on the movie, which is due for release on 7 November.

Casino Royale was probably one of the best Bond films ever made! I'm a huge Bond fan and I felt like it brought life back to the series! Can't wait to see this film already! Glad to see that they've already started filming. At the end of the article it says that the film is expected to release November 7th... of 2008 I'm hoping? It also mentions that there are clips that have already been shot and shown, so I'd like to find out where they are and see them. If anyone finds a link to these scenes, teaser trailer, anything... post it.

And come to think of it... when is a Bond game going to be coming to Xbox 360?

Quantum of Solace was the author's way of saying a measure of comfort (according to the article about the movie on yahoo), the movie is supposed to come out later this year and I have to agree with what's been said here, Olga alone makes the movie worth watching.

Interesting title to say the least. I loved Casino Royale as it wasn't about satellite in the sky, giant lasers melting glaciers, super go-go gadget copter, etc etc and so forth.

Daniel Craig certainly rejuvenated the series and id be thrilled if this could top the previous bond flick.

I missed Q's crazy gadgetry (John Cleese didn't quite fill the boots) in Casino Royale, instead it was some stupid defibrilator in his car. But it does make the films better since it is less about grating cheese from the other side of a window using a black hole generator cleverly fitted into the crotch of his trousers and more about the character.

If you've ever read the books, then the new Bond is the closest to the way Bond is supposed to be. He's meant to be a dark son of a bitch- like when he watches the bomber in Miami blow up and grins.

And yes, without giving any plot away it does pick up right where Casino Royale left off. Which leads me to believe that if the movie gets over "gadgety" it just won't make any sense (i.e "the Luuuuuucy, you've got alot of 'splaining to do").

Vesper's algerian boyfriend is rumored to be the villan, and there will be 2 main villans. not just 1 villan and a henchman. Will mostly be Bond on revenge for having his heart broken, and finding organization Le Chiffre worked for.

I'm not very informed on the films, retro/80's/not-shitty-movies-like-the-ones-coming-out-these-days-films-lolololololol/ horror films are more my style. :p

Anywho, my favorite era of Bond films would have to be Pierce Brosnan films. For some reason, he fits the look of how I would have pictured Bond to be, had I not seen him prior to anything.
