I would like to learn more about these Old Spices Challenges. Here are some questions I have after researching it.
Where does the money to pay for prizes come from???
What form do the gift certificates come in?
Do people cheat?
If people have not played for several days online can they then hook up online and get alot of achievements all at once?
Can you do a tier 2 or 3 prize first off or do you have to do them in some kind of order??
When searching their forums for Challenges is there anything specific I should look for in a challenge?
Should I just start my own challenge as opposed to join someone else's that I dont know???
I think that is enough questions for now, I am sure I will come up with more as these get answered.
Thanx guys!!

this should explain some of your questions.
Yes, in these challenges people do cheat by gaming offline or gaming before the challenge and then uploading the points. And judging by your gs i don't think its a good idea that you should try to get into these competitions and expect to win a prize. At the end of a 30 day competition the 1st placers would usually have anywhere ranging from 8k-20k gs increase. usually the average would be around 10k-12k, so yeah.

I would think the lower the GS the better!!!????
I have tons of easy and quick games to choose from and I bet I can get well over 15k in 30 days. I have a Gamefly subcription and I own 2 games I still have in the shrink wrap from Christmas. I am self employed and winter is my slow season so I think I have the time to do this. Thank you for replying!
Anyone have any general tips as to how to attack these? Anyone have any bad experiences doing these?

Where does the money to pay for prizes come from??? Mostly from sponsors, Old Spice, which is part of Procter & Gamble.
What form do the gift certificates come in? I believe that the gift certificates come with a code; I lost by 100 points, so I'm not entirely sure.
Do people cheat? You probably will run into 1 game saver out of many, many players. Not common when I play.
If people have not played for several days online can they then hook up online and get alot of achievements all at once? Yes, if they earn achievements offline and connect back online, those achievements will be counted for.
Can you do a tier 2 or 3 prize first off or do you have to do them in some kind of order?? I believe you can just join a tier, whichever one you like. The tier is based on the number of players and prize size.
When searching their forums for Challenges is there anything specific I should look for in a challenge? Look for people with high gamerscores, it makes it harder for them to find easy 1000 games, since they most likely already beat it.
Should I just start my own challenge as opposed to join someone else's that I dont know??? You can make a challenge if you like or go to the invite forums on 360voice. People will be posting invite codes to join their challenge. Personal preference.
