Corrupted profiles from xbl.

Just signed into live to download undertow and got error message saying cannot download it then when signed out noticed that only 1 profile on machine (normally have 2) so went to sign back in on the same profile as was little concerned.

After a while it connected and said which friends online but my theme didn't change & gamerscore and other info wouldn't display. So decided to log-off and do somin else, but when logged off second time dashboard said no available profiles and instead of usual sign-in part it just had the link to create new profile.

So now very concerned and went to system blade to find that both profiles on my hard drive are showing as corrupted.

Try recovering all your things. If that doesn't work, you just lost all your achievements and everything on that gamer tag.

I'd try ringing customer support, I know its shit but they're you best bet if you think your profile is corrupted.

Just a quick question though...
Do you think it was related to downloading the free game? Because I'm going to go download it but I don't want my account temporarily messed up.

I downloaded it today with no problem. Glad you got it fixed, I was going to suggest that you get yourself a memory card and move the corrupted profile over to it. Then try downloading the profile itself from LIVE to the hard drive.

Mine wouldnt download at 1st kept saying some thing about an error msg just kept trying and it worked, same with a update for Kane and Lynch. Just keep trying!!!

Waaaaaaay off topic but now that I take a look I see that the OP is from Leeds. The wife and I went on vacation to London last September and on the last Saturday we were there we visited Leeds Castle. Absolutely GORGEOUS place with all the animals and water and what not. Sorry for derailing, just thought it was definitely worth a mention :)

I had a bit of a problem with downloading Undertow too.

Tried to download it and got an error message and it brought me back to the dashboard signed out. So I signed in again and downloaded it and it worked.

Weird. I dunno, guess there is a bug.
