The unabated racist? The guy that will call you anything and everything all in the same sentence.

The annoying kid? The kid that sounds like he should be reading nursery rhymes instead of wasting your time team-killing you.

The annoying adult? The adult with the high pitched voice (real or fake) that rivals the annoying kid.

The abusive teammate? The guy that treats every pickup game like a WSVG match and lets you know every second of the game just how badly the team would be doing without him and his perfection.

Or someone else? Any other people you hate to run into during your LIVE sessions.

Also, the first time I ran into annoying teammates was when I played shadowrun and hadn't really gotten a hold on it yet, was only one alive and then got killed. I really sick of people who abuse people for taking their kills. Most of the time, things just happened fast and you didnt do it deliberately. Sorry to say that as there are many Americans playing at the time period that I go online and one of such person was shooting his mouth off the whole GoW match and gave me a bad rep.

Sure I was pissed off too when someone took my kills but I live with it. Gaming is for fun and not but living a life.

Nowsadays, I usually join the Asian/UK games which have a better connection as well.

It seems that any game you drop into has at least one idiot running amok, the odds of finding a group of extremely reasonable people to enjoy a tough but fair match with seems impossible. I'm not saying this happens in every game I play but it seems to happen more often than not.

It's why I only play online games with people I know or (in dire emergency) when I need to go for certain achievements.

LOL that's awesome! So many times I can remember someone's shitty music playing in the background from what sounds like a low fidelity dubbed copy of a cassette. That's when I wish that the LIVE headset needed a press to talk key for all games by default so I don't have to hear it.

The people on Xbox LIVE REALLY make you appreciate a live and in person legit LAN party. Because some of the shit that people pull on LIVE just wouldn't cut it at a LAN....at least nothing a good beat down wouldn't sort out quick.

Well, this is going to be the most racist post here. (I'm not racist, I'm just tolerant)

It depends, I hate the squeaky voice little fucking brats, but they can be ok, if they don't talk much and there good, I can tolerate them, then when they start to sing, or anyone starts to fucking sing, I mute them in mere seconds.

Adults are ok, but the second I call someone a fag if they say something to me, they flip out and start going nuts. Then theres the people who they don't shut up, argues on live is going to happen but don't just not stop talk and keep yelling for the entire match so I can't understand what the fuck you say.

Then theres the white trash teens who for some reason can afford xbox live >:C Who repeatedly yell the same thing over and over again. "DON'T JOO FUCKING TALK TO MAG NI**A, NI**A U GOT NO SKILL, NI**A IMMA POP UR ASS" then there just like "NI**ANI**ANI**ANI**ANI**ANI**ANI**ANI**A" I assume I'd get in trouble for saying that word here. None of you can say you've never had one of them in your game.

Then theres the Black guys on Gears, now I'm not racist, theres not many black people here, so I don't really try to stereo type them. But on Gears they are just so fucking cocky, and a lot of people I know here and over live agree with me. But this is just more on gears only, doesn't happen on other games.

In Kane and Lynch people act ghetto, then you hear "Honey, your supopers ready" and they leave early. Saints Row has got the biggest white trash community ever EVER. They play the game while like fucking eating there white trash pizza pockets, I don't think they even know theres shirts with sleeves.

Then the person whos got none of these characteristics but call you Trash and garbage at the game. Example, Gears I get two kills on the other teams better players, and we win the round, NOW since I got kills and we won, I am garbage, I suck at this game, because I won, because live makes a whole lot of sense.

Then there are the people who are way to good at the game, and when they win, they just yell how much they raped you and owned your ass, how much of a noob you are.

Then theres the racist you all hate, even thou you say these peoples are racist, doesn't mean that they are racist. A lot of people now a days say words like "Ni**a, Bea**r, and Sp*k" and they use these on live to piss people off, its more the people you get offended because there being called this are more racist. When people say these slurs, they aren't actually being serious they are just trying to get you going and get mad. Now the people who are obviously not Black or Mexican, get offended, there mad you called them another race, as in they don't want to be that race. I usually get along with the racists as its not that hard, even thou all the above categories of people can fall into the racist categorizes.

But this is Xbox Live, theres not much, theres already been a news report on racism over Xbox Live and I don't think its gonna change.

But as my dad has said, "Its takes thousands of different kinds of people to make the world round" makes a decent amount of sense

Unfortunately I'm usually THAT teammate, so I guess not that one. It was a real problem growing up. Fortunately I don't have opportunities to be THAT guy in the real world as frequently.

The racists can get extremely annoying, but if there aren't any minorities in the room they can focus on trying to actually be funny. Depending on your mood, they can be tolerable, though that can change very quickly.

The annoying kid is a particular pet peeve, but I just don't come across them as frequently anymore. Ever since I stopped playing Halo I've rarely heard those otherwordly screams.

The annoying adult probably takes the cake, though. At least with a kid there's hope he'll get better. Here this is all the person will ever amount to.

I have underground, but I'm always matched up with "Pro" or whatever the equivalent family one is. I have been warned by M$ for shit-talking on live, because some kid's parents are heavy religious people and felt it was necessary to go to those extremes.

Next time you're in a game, after the match/round quickly glance at everyone you played withs gamertags. You'll be surprised to see that its all random.


Now for myself on this particular poll, i picked the kid. I don't care about a trash-talking kid but one that mocks you, annoys you, screams, or does other type of crap is the most annoying.

The earliest memory I have of wishing someone I was in a game with would just drop dead was when I was renting Shadowrun and this one guy would constantly watch me after he died and nitpicked and mocked me the whole time, acting as though I was the worst player in the game when the only way he kept ended up being able to watch me suck so much was because he consistently died before me and to top it off I was scoring better than him. Yeah...I was new and didn't always know my way around the maps so I'd have to stop and look around to get my bearings and I didn't always remember to use my magic and tech to their best...but I know damned well that I was just as valuable to the team as he was if not more.

The most recent really annoying person I encountered on Live was playing Rainbow Six Vegas and there was this one guy calling another guy "cracka" over and over and over and over again the whole game. Sometimes he would just say that word repeatedly for a minute solid. I didn't so much hate him the way I hated the guy mocking me in Shadowrun, but rather just wondered what the hell was wrong with the guy's brain.

In summary, getting a 360 for my birthday last year got me back into gaming and introduced me to a whole new world of disgust for my fellow human beings. I enjoy friendly ribbing...a little trash talking doesn't phase me...but there's a thick line between a little competitive boasting and being a total dick who wants to ruin the game for someone else.

So screw all of those people listed in the poll. I hope they either choke to death on their own tongue or grow up enough to comprehend good sportsmanship. Either would improve the world in its own way. :)

Anyone younger then 18 that is just constantly annoying and saying unnecessary things for attention can really take away from the game a lot unless you just unplug the headset. Sure I understand competitiveness, a bit of trash talking here and there. But multiple times every day I have to deal with a full scale argument between ignorant morons in the middle of a game, forcing me to mute them and getting killed multiple times while doing so. I wish there was some sort of IQ filter that allowed you to only play with people that were above a certain intelligence level. Hell, I wish that was somehow implemented into every day life.
