hey guys, finally got the full version of cs3 last night and was mucking round with sigs and made this little crappy one, haha

Good start man. Seems like you've got cutting your render out down pretty well. When you click on the render layer (the only of the lead character) click:

Filter>Render>Lighting Effects and have a play around with that

and

Filter>Render>Lens Flare

Have a go with them :)

Nice work mate, don't mean to sound like a dickhead here but mine was better although I did use a tutorial and that is the key to success.
Using tutorials will help you create your own style of signature creating which you like and will familiarize you with the program.

Good effort though and I expect to see rapid improvement. ;)

Yeah mate, not bad. You've got text sussed. Get some background tutorials and that now. Also, don't put (bad) in the title. If it was white background with crappy text...that would be bad.

well i tried a second after i got some new brushes and here we go

i was looking for rsv2 characters but couldnt find half decent so i stuck with my 2nd fave choice, army of two. i havent worked out borders :(

Not bad only thing missing in that is a good background. Try making stuff from random brushes which will bring out some awesome backgrounds.

Hey Mcclinton Its not a bad first sig, I actually like it. I would consider renaming your thread though and making it a gallery thread since it looks like you gonna be posting more than just the one, and the whole (bad) thing should probably taken out to.
