One of the first things I did when I got my 360 all connected way back in 2005 was download the file that allows the iPod to connect to the USB port on the 360. I have a 5th generation iPod video (I'm pretty sure it is 5th generation) and now I recently tried to plug in the unit and it will not come up as a selectable storage device. I have not formatted my HDD recently so I'm clueless on what could be wrong here.
Any ideas???

You could try re-installing the update, there might have been an update since you downloaded it.

I've been thinking about getting one, but I'd need the 80gb since 16 is too small for me.
Tell me how it goes. :p

I am having this same problem. I plug my ipod in and it doesnt work anymore. I have the update but I deleted it thinking maybe the xbox would tell me to download it and it didnt. I dont know where to go to download it again. Any help?

Games --> All Games --> Optional Media Update
I've heard from others that it's not there anymore, so I'm not sure what you can do about it.
Though you might want to try Games --> Played Games --> OMU, and it might be in there if you've already gotten it.
