See, this is actually my reason for taking offense. Before cheating started, you COULD actually sell a gamertag for a LOT of money. At one point i was offered $3k. I didn't take it, but it really sweetened the achievement thrill for me, because it added a value to my tag. When idiots playing GOW gave me crap about what a waste of time gamerscore was, i could point out the value of my tag. While 3k translated to like 0.50 dollars/hour of playing, it will be the same with any hobby. I used to restore and sell classic cars in my spare time, and when i sold them, i probably made about the same amount of money, 0.50 dollars/hour. Like video games, though, i enjoyed what i was doing. There was SOME measureable, albeit small value, the same used to hold true to gamerscore... Im a bit obsessive though, and the lengths to which i have gone to try and get "even" with strip have been extreme, but thats all in the past. I would love nothing more now than to buy and cancel that account, and watch it fade into oblivion.
