Xbox Live Disconnects

I'm starting to get really pissed off at Xbox Live, but I don't know whether it is Live or if it is something on my end. I keep getting randomly disconnected from Xbox Live while playing Call of Duty 4 and while just sitting on the frickin dashboard. Last night it did it about 10 times and today so far it has done it about 7 times. It is really pissing me off because I want to play my games and I can't because of this stupid Xbox Live bullcrap. Can someone tell me what the hell is going on because I don't know and I want to know or I'll be in favor of suing Microsoft and Xbox Live, or whoever made whatever is going on with my connections. :mad: WTF!!! I didn't get Live to be screwed around getting randomly disconnected because of some server crap, I got Live to play online, and guess what, I CANT.........

Is anyone else doing anything around the house while you are playing? When my brothers play WoW while I play the xbox it lags a bit

I can tell you right now it's not LIVE that's the problem, it's definitely something in your home. It sounds like 2 360's are trying to connect to the same router...is your network secure at home? How dense if your neighbor hood?

Well It also disconnected me randomly and I ahd to try bout 3 time to sign back in... but that is the only time

Like everyone is saying...check your connections. If someone is taking your bandwidth then that could be a big problem. Also, are you hard wired or using a wireless? If using a wireless that's a whole different can of worms. Make sure your connections are secured. Good luck dude!

this happened to me too, but i found out that it was a computer on the same network that the xbox was having IP conflicts with. it goes away after restarting your xbox. mine came back, but not for a couple of weeks after it first happened.

my friends xbox live lags whenever i get on his computer and even disconnected him one time. that might b it ???

It might be if you are using a wireless adapter. because this was happening to me after a few hours of being connected to live. It was pissing me off so i tried the wired connection and it was fine didn't kick me off at all. Went back to wireless the other day and guess what it kicked me off again :mad:. so back to wired connection again. Try it see if it works and let us know.
