How do people have 1k in this game...?

So I looked through the leaderboards on condemned and some people have 1k in this game with like 12 achievements.. or 15.. but still have 1k in this game.. anyone wanna explain how the hell this is possible?

This is probably due to a glitch that has been recognised ages ago. It was posted somewhere in one of the forums a while back, not sure where though. It was an unintentional glitch as well.

Can it even go to 1000. I think Condemned is only 930 or somethin. Maybe 970.

It doesn't look to be a glitch in the game more so a glitch with the website, because when you go and have a look at peoples profiles that the site shows having 1000 points most of them didn't even have 970.

this is a glitch. it has some thing to do with unplugging your controller at the same exact time as you get the first achievement on the second level and it will give you 4000 (four thousand) points for the game but only show up as 1000 on the websites. but if you compare games with the person on live it will show you having 4000 for this game. it was fixed months ago however. everybody who did it is back to normal.
