Need a quick answer about glitch for time trials!

I have to return this game soon. I was able to use the glitch on the first level but now whenever I go to a level and click on quit. The difficulty changes back to hard so that means I have to make it "time trial" again....which wont take off the timer for the time trial glitch. I dont know what I'm suppose to do, someone please help...these are my last achievements to get. I deleted the cache as well so the problem isnt because I updated the game. Someone help!! T____T

You could be doing somethink wrong..... load up a level on time trial when it loads and it has done its video cut then quit out of it then go back to that mission and click on continue and there will be no time clock on the screen but if u die it will come up and start counting away, just befor u finish the mission kill ur self so the time starts or the achievement will not unlock....

Problem though is that if you beat the game on hard last, then the time trials will be on hard. So that was uncool, but do able. I just started new game and beat it on easy real quick then did the time trials.
