While it was absolutely nothing like the original (which is why many people didn't like it, though that was the whole point of the project), I thought it was pretty good. In fact, I haven't seen a Rob Zombie film I haven't liked.

I think I've discussed this numerous times, and I believe it was in the actual Halloween thread. Though the film was nothing like the original, it wasn't meant to be. What turned me off about the entire thing was, it was completely inaccurate. He had a normal family, wasn't brought up in a dysfunctional setting, and he never wore 'The Shape' mask as a child. Laurie Strode was never even born yet when he killed his family members. The film was way off. :mad: I've watch horror films my entire life, went to at least four horror film conventions, and met over 30 celebrities from this. Reason I mention this, I don't want people to think I'm ignorant...

Anywho, after watching House of the Dead, Bloodrayne, and Alone in the Dark, it's nearly impossible to take this man serious.

That was my point Tussell. He completely redid the story the way he would have done it. It has nothing to do with the original one at all. It wasn't a remake, it was a "re-imagining" -- if you watch it again and pretend you never saw the original, it's a good movie. If you watch it expecting an updated version of the same movie, you won't like it.

Ok what is postal even suppose to be about? After seeing that preview its so far seems to be in pretty bad taste. I mean that last part kinda screamed 9/11 to me. Which I feel shouldn't really be portrayed in any film unless for a documentary or history flick purpose.

Well Im pretty sure he shows the planes hitting and everything. Even osama is portrayed in the movie. As shown in this picture I found on imdb. Uwe Boll is scum and this is great news knowing he will probably never be heard from again.

wow that was awful. I don't know if Uwe Balls can get threw with that with out any controversy. I for one am glad Uwe Balls is dont for with those big budget films. But this still means he will be doing crappy films with even less budget do the films will be even worst. Ladies and Gentalmen the worst has yet to begin.

His movies were a joke, now we just have to get Paul Anderson to STOP making RE movies staring Milia. Those movies are just horrible.

On a side note, Rob Zombie makes really good movies. I would never want to watch a remake of Halloween anywayes, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't completely great (the original).
