R.I.P Ben Marlin

As reported by Blabbermouth, Disgorge member dies from cancer. The band issues the following statement: "We are regretful to say that after nearly a year and a half of battling cancer, our brother and bass player Ben Marlin has passed away just about the stroke of 5am this January 2nd, 2008. We are going to miss him so much and may he live on in all our hearts forever. Ben, thank you for all your years of friendship and brutality."

After just losing young and talented Witold 'Vitek' Kieltyka of the band Decapitated, this is horrible news. It's a bit late, but I just heard about it.

I assume a few members will know of him. If not, I apologize, but this news has just come very shocking to me.

Nope, I'm referring to have just heard about Ben Marlin. I heard about Vitek within a day of the news being released.
