Boat stunts I don't understand

When I do the whole jump off a boat with my parachute how am I suppose to get back on my boat it takes off and leaves me in the open water swimming for an hour trying to get another boat what exactly am I suppose to do?:confused:

wow..i havent played this in so long..got the 1000 long time ago hah...but to answer your question..from what i remember you have do is:

**this is not the same as the vehicle one...you cannot jump back and forth between two boats to get this achievement.

1. Get a random boat
2. As your second boat, get your agent to drop off the boat you get through your navigator.

What i did was i had one boat stable not moving(preferably the non agent one). The second boat(agent one), i drove it at the stable boat from a distance and just before i got to the stable boat and i would latch onto the boat by hooking onto the back of it using the hook shot and parachut and just before i got to the stable boat(leaving you some room), i would let go and hook onto the stable boat using your hook shot (this counts as one)

** I would use your agent boat when driving because you can just order another one when it runs off after jumping from it**

Do this 20 times and the achievement is yours.

I remember doing this with just one boat, just don't get too much speed, the trick is to have just enough speed to open your parachute, then you can still quite easily catch your boat and jump to it. Hope this helps.

Yea this is the easiest way to do it. It doesnt have to be between two boats. Get a larger boat that has some decent speed but not too fast. Now find a very open stretch of water. Aim the boat so that it has a wide open path in front of it. Start accelerating but dont go to top speed, get to a bit past medium speed. If youre going too slow you wont be able to deploy the parachute. If youre going too fast you wont be able to jump back to the boat after you deploy the parachute. Get to the ideal speed and press A to deploy the parachute and then as soon as youre in the air just press A again quickly and he will hop back to the boat. Enter the boat again, get some speed, and repeat. After I did it a couple of times the boat would eventually get too close to a piece of land or other obstacle so all I did was turn it around at that point and go the opposite way. Keep repeating and you will get the achievement.

Thanks I have finally achieved this achievement and I got complete all stunts when I got this:)

I had the hardest time with the boat stunts, just keep trying them and you will get it.

yea, the boat stunts are definitely the hardest to get.

I rented it today and i attempted i got like 2 stunts in then it drove off lol!

It took me a while to figure this one out as well, trust me. You can find your own way of doing it, but the only thing that counts as a "stunt" is leaping from a vehicle, grappling to a boat while in mid-air, then reeling into and stealing that boat. It must be a different boat every time, making it take a while. It can be a bit daunting, but you'll get it in the end.

It doesn't need to be a differnt boat. You can take one and keep parachuting off it and landing back on it to get the achievement.

What makes this more difficult than it needs to be is that the game doesn't keep track of these stunts in the Statistics section. So you don't know if what you're doing is actually correct until you unlock the achievement. Same for the aerial stunts.
