ok. this is the first game that has actually caused me to throw my controller, first time since the n64 days... this game is so obnoxiously annoying and makes me want to hurt something.

this game had such good potential, too. i mean seriously, you sing in this game??? you have to cheer your thanes on just so they would do something thats taking centuries to happen?

i was hoping for a decently good game here. not a shit game that i just button mash and keep my fingers crossed that i can get past certain areas. im stuck again on this game, and the saving system in this game is equally as annoying.

i mean seriously? what is the thought process that the developers is thinking about when they're making such a shit game?

i should've got the big apparent warning label of "HEY, OUR GAME A MONTH AGO WAS 59.99/// NOW ITS 19.99"
My thought process was, hey?! a 360 game for 20 bucks brand new! i'll buy that game....

for anyone that is contemplating on getting a game, don't get this one. the animations in the game are bad, the environments are pretty crappy, the game has poor graphics, the sound isn't too bad but it sure doesn't make up for the rest of the game.

i just wish this game wasn't so damn irritating, and that i wouldn't get stuck every 10 minutes on some dumb shit or have to be forced to sit thru terrible dialogue with a piss poor job of animations.

Thanks for the heads-up. I saw this game on my friends PS3, and thought it looked like garbage, but also like an easy 1000. Not until I get high up in GS would I consider this game.

This is basically my opinion of it. I've only begun playing it for points, but I really can't play it for too long. It's just really stressful overall.

And I have 1000 in Superman Returns, too. :P

Wow - I guess I'll throw my two cents in.

I really don't think it was that bad, but I didn't have any problems beating the game - well, besides the Defend The Relic - THAT sucked. But I beat it on legend my first go 'round using heroic, and I only had to reset back to checkpoints only occasionally. Have you been using the guides on here? They really help, and make finding the runes/legendary items much, much easier.

However, I do agree that alot of times the graphics are quite lacking, as well as a lot of the rest of the game, but was it that bad? I'd say Conan was worse, in my opinion (some of those achievements were horrible... and on hard it was almost unbeatable a lot of the time) - simply because this was a useful game to earn some fast points on - roughly 3-5hrs for a playthrough, and you only need to go through twice.

Playing for GS has been very stressful for me when all I'm spos'ed to do when I'm gaming is have fun. It's a part of it I suppose but I really love kicking back and getting achievements in a game I really love or just am not totally frustrated at.

This game is absolutely brilliant!!
BUT, in me saying that....It did cause me to kick my DVD stand by accident though!
I was stuck on "Protect the Holy Relic" for what seemed like an eternity.
But I would recommend this game to any button basher fan and someone who enjoys a laugh!

I hate this game.
It's not even that hard, even on legend. It's just annoying. What is up with those button pressing parts, like in the fight with Grendel?
It doesn't even give you enough time to see what buttons you need to press before he throws you off. You have to already know what buttons you're going to be tapping and already be tapping them for it to work. I hate having thanes. They get in the way of fighting more than they help. In the beginning I tried letting them all die off so I could just play the game solo and actually see what I was doing, but that gives you a game over.
I hate spending 20 minutes dredging through waist-high water in every level, too.
And is it me, or does the game get blurry every time you move the screen? That is seriously starting to screw with my eyes.
So that's my rant.
This may not be THE worst game I've played, but it's up there.

You love Conan as it is a dream compared to this game. Conan makes Beowulf look like his special needs cousin. Good luck with those other two. When all is said and done you are going to hate any use of the word "Pimp" (pains me just to type it) and small rodents and their charms.

Yeah, to make matters worse on my first playthru i went for hero status, and i didnt do the hero thing 38x or whatever it is, so now i need to replay the game, doing all of the hero accesses i can, then re-replay it to get the carnal fury ones... (UGH)

not to mention the damn grendel's song is pretty annoying. :boom

I bought it the other day b/c like they said before it was only 19.99....I fig it would have some good CGI and story line.....but no the case....Also game play lacks a lot....oh well...Will try to get 1k and more on....I will have to day it's better the The Golden Compass....that just killed me to play.

The hell with this game, i haven't broken a controller since Gears Of War. Now I broke it over this dumb worthless game. It wasnt that hard on the legend until i got to defend the relic. COME ON MAN!! WTF! I can't turn off the xbox because i would have to start over a ways away from where i am. So now i can send this game unfinished back to gamefly. Not to mention my broken halo controller (master chief) Don't get this game, if i didnt break my controller i probably would have punched a hole through my big screen tv.

I'm playing on legend and am about to start episode 8. So far nothing to annoying or tough, but I'm freaked about having to do this "defend the relic" I've been reading about. I just hope I don't break a controller or just plain snap the disc in half lol

Yeah, the defend the relic is some bullshit. Those guys get paratrooped in on the top of the hill or what? I don't mind a game being hard, like HALO on legendary or Gears of War on Insane. When I die because of camera angles, visual inscrutability, falling into a botomless pit, or for protecting something/escorting that doesn't have the damned wherewithal to cover up, I just see red. Red like my knuckles are right now from punching the wall.

This game also suffers from a lack of radar / map / objective locator. I don't want to know how long I spent running round the swamps lost and confused after hunting the priestesses.

I think I'm going to have to skip the last two achievements (yeah, the carnal max/upgrade ones). Those useless fucking thanes keep following me everywhere and I always end up killing them myself. What is the idea here? How can I make those bastards go someplace else? Man I'd like to have a word with the losers who made this game. It's like a mix between an action game and a rhythm game with all those LB+X sessions lol. Should be categorized along with GH and RB...

I only grabbed this game for the 1000 points. I saw it for $19.99 and said "Huh...this can't be good..." and saw it used at EB for $10 and thought "Eh, what the hell..."

I quickly regretted the decision.

I agree with every bash this game has gotten. It's annoying, controls sucks, graphics are atrocious, I'd MUCH rather Conan over this, and that game wasn't all that entertaining or relaxing either! But at least I managed to pull myself through a single run through of that, whereas I cannot even force myself to finish this one.

Now if someone had made a guide for this, from start to finish, maybe then I'd pick it up again, but until then, probably not. Gamestop is having a $10 extra trade in credit thing going on when you trade 2 games, so I think I'll just go and trade it in with something else and hope I get my money back if they'll even take it back.
