Problems getting S-Rank in Mission 1

Hello!
I am new here. I hope you can help me with my problem as the title says enough...
Tried to get an S rank in the first mission many times on every difficulty...
Just getting everytime an A...

What am I doing wrong???
P.s. on the other Missions I have an S Rank so...???

Have you tried just basically destroying several secondary targets? If you still get an A after that, try destroying all initial primary targets and the reinforcements.

On the second part of the mission, where you need to escape the area, try to bring down some of the reinforcements and Strigon members if possible. You shouldn't have any problems getting an S on the first run though...

What aircraft are you using ? If you've beaten the game on at least hard, just keep using the CFA-44. The ADMM will help you take down a lot of the secondary targets at the same time.

I've also noticed that taking down the named aircraft seem to help get the necessary points for a S rank.

I think You need to destroy each enemy target (not secondary's) In a very short amount of time. I think you get 1 minute 20 seconds to shoot down the group of TGT's once locked onto the first one. Although saying this Destroying secondaries is also a good option as It could randomly give you the S rank.

I didn't mean as 'random' I meant it as a secondary job to do whilst shooting down the TGT's as it would almost garuntee the S rank if he shot everything down in the required time.

I don't know the point-threshold, but I do know that an S-rank is based on point-total. Basically you just have to get a lot of green-targets.

Getting the red-targets fast enough for the red-fa18's/rafale's to spawn is fine - just leave the rafale's (red) alive while you go after green-targets. If you kill the rafale's right away, then the mission updates and the clock resets to 5-minutes - not very much time to kill a lot of green ones.

I concentrate on taking out secondary targets with mutli-target missiles as much as possible before taking out all the main targets. Usually leave only three main targets left so they won't cause too much damage. You can take out almost all the strigon team in one shot if you find them right when they show up and unleash ally support attacks on them. They should get hit before you need to escape and can't use it anymore.

Getting an S-rank is not random; it depends on either time and score or both. Time doesn't play a factor in it. Just score. Get enough points and you're good to go. This mission only has one objective. You need to shoot down "secondary" targets for about 20 minutes to get an S rank.

I scored 40430 and only got rank A

Just done an SP New Game on Hard and got S, scoring 58140 points..

Ok well here are all my stats if it helps..

Normal: 57,090
Hard: 58,140
Expert: 61,720

Keep in mind that you usually will get a bonus at the end also, so you probably won't have to actually get those numbers during the level (don't quote me on that though).

Just kills as much stuff as possible, and of course take down all the green targets before the red.

I done it on Hard by using the Nosferatu and using ADMM. Destroying all secondary objectives and strigon team is the key. If you don't have the plane you can download a version of it on XBL i used it to finish the hard level and unlocked the in-game CFA-44. But i had to use the in-game one to get S on lv 1. The XBL plane was too slow...

Just take your time.. I did it on expert using the CFA-44 with ADMM.. try and wipe out as much of the green targets before wiping out the red.. I scored 61980 if that helps..
