get the achievements through multiple playthroughs?

I was wondering if you can get the achievements through multiple plays. Like the morale gasser one, could I do a bunch in this playthrough and a bunch on the next? Or is it all in one game?

Are you wondering if the number of times that you activate a certain ability (say the 38 times fo rthe morale gasser) carry over into your next game? If so, I would highly doubt it, and would just sit in one spot to earn your achievements. You will have you go through at least twice to get all the achievements - and a word to the wise, make sure after you defend the relic and continue on the path to raise every round wheel with blue crosses on them, and explore those area's first, before continuing on. I didn't, and ended up at the next level - which then unfortunately made me miss out on roughyl 4 achievements.
