Gun Collector Achievement Help

I am using the guide to try obtain all the guns in the game. I was just wondering what the best way of doing it is.

At the moment I have used the level select and started on episode 3 and planning to play through the game again on easy to obatin the achievement.

I was wondering if there is a easier way as I was not planning to play through the game again, However if I have to, I will.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah I still need that achievement, I will play on easy to get the guns.
