Hey all, i just made my two signature's up till now, but more are coming. I'll be thankful if you guys could give me some 'constructive' criticism to become better.

its a lot better than a lot of first attempts i have seen. just look at tutorials and keep it up and you will be amazing in no time!

Nice work for a first one, my first was a rip in MS Paint lol.

Here is some constructive criticism:

Focus on colour blending from the render to the background and perhaps making the siggy size bigger, but we all have different screen resolutions.

ah, you caught me. But actually this Sotf wasn't really a signature, it was more like a design so basically this is my first signature :p

I'd say you've really got the text down nicely. It reads very nice compared to everything. As someone mentioned, blending the render to the background is important, so that's really all I would tell you to work on.

I think it's a very good sig, full stop. The colours are very nice the text is excellent.

Very tasty first sig - a hell of a lot better than my first! Keep up the good work and just look at some tutorials (/message TS101 haha - this guy has been invaluable to me getting better at Photoshop)

i like it but it looks like all you did was crop it and add text from this wallpaper.

but it still looks good for a first sig, mine looked like crap

true, i did crop it. Then i add a slight bit of color adjustments to it. But I think a sig is a sig and it's about what the outcome is. The end justifies the means ;) haha!

Well a new signature after some time of nothing. My second. I wanted to take part in the SOTF #5 contest but was 3 hours late with the signature, grrr...
anyway, i didn't want to throw it away so here is what i came up with.

I cut out all the renders myself (that's quite a time-consuming job :( ) and did some gradients, color adjustments and masking while i was at it. A border, my name and the site's name finished it off.

ps. If you someone could tell me how to directly show images that would be great, thnx

That's a cool sig, man. I really like it. I don't do sigs myself, but from an artistic perspective I personally think it is a tad bit imbalanced between the super-bright blue and the mix of light/dark with MC's head. It is still good, though.
