Constructive criticism is welcomed and if anyone could help me with the name signature I would be delighted :)

The background isn't transparent because you didn't save the image as .PNG ;)

Open up the .PSD and re-save it as a .PNG and you'll be good to go.

The Army of Two one's very nice.

Yeah its definitely a png....I used JJ UK's metal text outline tut to do it so unless i've done something wrong by using that then I dont what has happened...

Got two new signatures, just messing around with different tools, no tutorials. Realised smudging actually gives a good effect.

If any of you want these ill be happy to change the names, even though they aren't really that good.

I really like your Army of Two sig but keep on messing with photoshop you can learn much by experimenting.

Army of Two one is my favorite too,

I have to agree smudging is a really good technique although I don't really like that signature, it has too many over the stock, I think your focal point (most important point, usually the render/stock) should really stand out and is too much blended in.

Also try using C4D's which can give you some really nice effects on your signature.

But if these are your first few weeks you're doing way better than me in that time :)
